The costumes alone indicate why an '80s week was a truly bad idea.

And Brooke looks like a really shiny tube of toothpaste.

CA says that Maks and Hope have a love-hate relationship. How would she know? From rehearsal footage?

Don't like her comments about Hope not being "feminine" enough either. It's not really up to her to define what constitutes feminine. Besides, I don't really think it's that so much as that Hope is trying something way out of her comfort zone, and she's used to being a very successful athlete, so she gets frustrated when it's not coming naturally to her.

Hope can't help it that she's just "such a guy". :shrug

If they gave Hope straight eights, it's pretty much a guarantee that someone (like R/D) is going to get a ten or two down the line.

Next week is Broadway week? Ouch. I love Broadway music--I don't want to see it butchered.

Had a crisis at work so it's nice to be able to forget all that and jump on here :) I love the 80s (especially the music) so I may be muting "the best band in the world" tonight so they don't butcher my favorite songs. I worry this is Hope's farewell swan song :( They may try and bring on the "shocking" eliminations to justify a judges save next season.

Okay, I'm completely willing to admit that Carson's jive was a mess. But I withhold my approval of the scores until I see how others are scored relative to Carson. I certainly agree that H/M were better, but others--and we all know who--have been consistently over scored in the past, no matter what they actually do. Frankly, if Chaz had to do a jive, I'm not sure he could even make it through it, just because of his physical condition.

The dance was a mess but I just love Carson!
