Unfortunately, the prevalence of reality shows has spawned far too many people who are famous by accident, it seems.
What most irks me is that said people are often defended in their boorish behavior by fans who see them as being "real, honest", etc.
Sadly, the said "real and honest behavior" is simply bad behavior.

And, unfortunately, it causes actual people of accomplishment to get thrown by the wayside.

Boorish is an excellent word to describe it. Sad and pathetic that fans support that kind of behavior so it never ends.

Sugar Ray was the opposite of boorish. I really dislike boxing so was prepared to not like him. What a pleasant surprise. He was a total gentleman and I will miss him.
