4/4 DWTS12 Show Discussion **Spoilers**

Knowing Maks, I'm sure he'll never let himself get over this and feel like he really let Kirstie down. For all the bashing he takes, I have to give it to him for what a professional he is and how big hearted he really is. Were they able to finish their routine? How far did they get?

I remember when Cristian de la Fuente's arm gave out during his season 6 mambo, but that was at the end of the routine (however, it started cramping up before).

They took a second, regained composure, and continued on with ease. You can tell Maks felt slight pain from the experssion on his face, but they finished the rest of the dance like champs! That would've been all 9's had it not been for the fall...mark my words. She was very fluid and danced lovely.

I always liked Kirstie, but was disappointed when I heard she was partnered with Maks. I should remember in future seasons, the partnerships I always think I'll hate I wind up loving, and the ones I look most forward to wind up crashing and burning (no pun intended on the crashing part).

Tom once said Maks was a huge marshmellow on the inside once you got to know him. In fact, anyone I've ever read about that's known him personally has nothing but good things to say about what a kind, caring person he is. I feel so bad this had to happen to him. He'll probably go out of his way to make it up to Kirstie and the fans. Thanks for the updates guys!

I really hope they don't start cracking weight jokes. It obviously had nothing to do with her weight because I'm sure they practiced that move over and over and it went just fine. People can be so cruel and mean.

Utterly impressed that they picked up and kept going like nothing happened--true professionals

I feel like they're being unnecessary harsh with Ralph like they were with Evan just to make it seem like a more even field.

It looked to me like a bad thigh cramp. Maybe he didn't hydrate enough today. I hope that's all it was and not something more serious. They are going to need all the fan votes they can get tonight. They did so great to continue..props to Maks, finished while in bad muscle cramp pain. He's pretty tough. I can only imagine how shocked Kirstie was and she recovered to finish the dance very nicely.

If Maks has to bow out, maybe Tony can step in? Wendy will probably be eliminated tomorrow anyways.

Nothing against Tony, but I would NOT be a happy camper if that happened. Though I wouldn't have thought it at the beginning of the season, Maks might have a shot to win with Kirstie, and it would just plain stink if he was denied that because of an injury. And again, nothing against Tony, but I just don't see him having the same kind of goofball chemistry with Kirstie that she has with Maks.

And yeah, should Maks be out for the season as a result of this, I fear Kirstie's weight will be blamed somehow, and it wouldn't surprise me if she privately worried that there was some truth to that, no matter what Maks tells her.

I don't know why that pointless Brooke can't give a Maks update....
