Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy - Season 12

I am so proud of Kirstie. She epitomizes what a 60 year-old woman who is not in the best physical shape can do with a great attitude and very hard work. That is why so many people have been behind her.

That said, I am afraid that F3 is the end of the line for Kirstie. Notice that the judges give her the highest praise they can give her but give her all 9s. She has only gotten one 10. They are already controlling how far Kirstie is going to get.

Barring one of the other 2 couples just blowing it to smithereens - which I doubt - Kirstie has already been marked as F3.

She has had a tremendous run, though!

I agree. I have forgotten. Do we vote for the winner or do the judges? The judges would never award her the win. Viewers could.

the judges will make sure she doesn't win. Although, I'd love to see her win. A Mark win (and I leave Chelsea off on purpose) is only going to piss off a lot of people.

I'm not always happy with the winner, but ultimately they are usually the best dancers, but Mark winning with the blatant rigging to get him into the finals would be the last straw and I'd be done with this show.

When I think of the seasons I've watched, I see:

Mark and Shawn Johnson = they won after the votes were 'cleaned up' when Gilles had a slight lead over Shawn and ultimately the numbers were washed so Shawn/Mark got the win.

Mark and Bristol - clearly Bristol should have been out way before finals and much better dancers were booted way before their time. Mark makes finals, Derek wins with Jennifer

Mark and Chelsea - Winner take all 'nuiff said

IDK - those are the seasons I watched, along with Mark and Shannon who were eliminated early, but Mark was going to have to withdraw due to an injury (I think this is the season Nicole and Derek won )

Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist, but does that seem weird to anyone else but me??

I'd love to see a Kirstie win too. Let's face it, this is not a true dance competion otherwise they'd have a competitive cast of star contestants. When you can have a show that pits an 80 yr old astronaut, or 70 something actress against an olympic athlete, 20 yr old dancer/entertainter...... that's not a competition IMO So for the judges to act like it's a big time contest is totally ridiculous.... and pretending that they don't want the "best" dancer to go home.... that screams fixed to me, as it shouldn't matter if you're the best or not, it's about fans and the entertainment value they bring to the dance floor. (Bristol is always the exclusion though due to the source of her votes). So on that basis, Hines and Kirstie should be going to the final 2, and never mind having the so-called best dancer be in the finals. Kirstie will get my votes regardless, as she and Maks have been the reason I continue to watch this season, but if Hines wins, its all good... but a Mark win would really really tick me off!!

I will watch and vote for Kirstie. I think it is impossible for her to win though.

Kristie has gotten my votes all season and will continue. But I agree, no way TPTB will let her win it. She'll be 3rd, like Kelly Osborne.
But I'll vote and hope for an upset.

I want Kirstie to win; I don't care which of the others win. Kym and Hines are likley to take it, especially given Kyms injury.
