I get uncomfortable when anyone makes fun of someone's appearance or race. It's just rude. There is a heart inside that body and it breaks when people laugh and insult for sport. That's what mean people do IMO. I don't care for it. I have been thin to average most of my life, but have family members who are heavy and I see their feelings. These bullies should get some sensitivity training.

Ever since I was a little girl, I hated it when people made jokes about bald men. My great-grandfather was bald from the time I was a baby. I'm not sure if that is why. To my knowledge his baldness never bothered him. He wore a hat to prevent sun burn. To this day, I get offended when people make bald jokes right in the face of the bald man. It is done to Matt Lauer quite often and he's not even bald yet. It's my pet peeve. STOP picking on bald men. Often comedians will pick a bald man out inf the audience and make direct insults to him. That is not okay.

I am an obese person who occaisionally pokes fun at my own weight and believe me I do not take that as an invitation for put downs from others. Joking about having extra baggage is a lot different than being called a pig. When people have tried to put me down in the past I like to remind them that human worth is not measured in pounds unless you are talking about the size of the heart. Small hearts make small people.

Kirstie and Maks are a joy to watch.

Her self-deprecating AND dry humor crack me up. I usually hate the rehearsal footage, but Kirstie's have really made me chuckle. I've often thought the Quickstep looked at times like a little doggie trying to keep up with someone with longer legs. When Kirstie said it looked like she was running to catch the train, I thought the analogy was spot-on.

Maks looks fantastic and like he is having a great time with her. I also love how much he helps his partners recognize their own self-worth and doesn't feed into their insecurities. Kirstie has brought up her weight and age and wondered how her performance compares to previous partners who were lighter and younger. Maks seems to push her appropriately to perform.

I especially loved Kirstie's calculation of how many pounds she could lose per dance and stated that she needed to make it to the finals in order to achieve her 40 pound weight loss goal. Sounds like something I would do.

Thanks for bringing this conversation back around to the dance pair. I was one who wasn' gonna like Kirstie until I saw her dance and I love her. I've always loved Maks and thought for sure he'd be out week 2 or 3, but I don't think so, I'm so happy that Kirstie is a good dancer and I love watching the two of them interact. They are a hoot to watch.

On my Canadian Channel (I think it's City TV) the commercials are always Kirstie (they call her Kristy), Ralph and Chris dancing - if that were the F3 - I'd would have to tune in for the finale!!!

They showed tonight what a true partnership should be on this show Kudos to both of them for continuing on, and to Maks for hanging in there right until the end. Since he was back on the floor at the end, I'm hopeful it wasn't serious. I think the scores were fair, and probably were marked down, because that routine was amazing.

I have never seen Maks so happy even when he was clearly in pain tonight. I am pulling for him and Kirstie to pull out the win this season. It will be tough to do against someone like Hines, but I believe they have a great chance.

I have so much respect for them. Man, that takes courage to fall and continue. Has that ever happened to anyone before?
