It may not have hit mainstream media quite yet - but how long before it does?

It is rather hypocritical of ABC to limit their employees abilities to do what they want with their private lives since they have not worried about that standard when casting the 'stars', most likely casting many because of that image - 'member Pammy - they wanted her for seasons and finally got her.

We'll never know if it will impact Ralph's chances at the disco ball - who knows, maybe it will help him.....any publicity is good publicity, right?

It wasn't that long ago the spotlight was on the show because of George Lopez's comments about Kirstie and now this. Frankly, I don't think it's going to harm the image of the show. If anything, it might bring more husbands into the living room.

well, I am shocked to hear that Karina is posing for Playboy! That was the last thing I expected. Then again, the last thing I expected was to see Maksim as the Ukrainan Bachelor. The have both disappointed me.

Why Karina is doing this is beyond me. Most women do this thinking it is going to help them in some way, but what do they really get for it?. I am sure Playboy paid her for this..but really, how much money did she demand for doing this? It couldn't be that much!

I, too, wonder how Brad feels about this. Believe it or not, many men would be flattered to have their girlfriend or wife pose for Playboy. It's sort of a bragging point - see how hot my girlfriend is!

As for Karina and Maks - it was so odd that he was way more into her than she was into him. Maks is so much more attractive than Brad Penny - it has to be the money Brad is making that attracted Karina to him.

But that doesn't explain why Karina soured on Maks. She didn't even want to talk about haivng children while she was dating Maks, and now that is all she can talk about! There has gotta be something a little 'off' with Maks. It's odd that such an attractive guy who is lusted after by so many women, and wants to get married and have kids, is having such a difficult time finding someone. It just makes you wonder.

It's just too bad about Karina.

Karina Smirnoff will be the first pro on Dancing with the Stars to pose nude in Playboy, but the news didn't come as a surprise to her bosses.

Despite reports that producers angrily felt she hurt the program's image, a source close to the show says, "They did know ahead of time and they still gave her one of the best pairings."

Smirnoff, 32, is dancing with point leader Ralph Macchio. Her photo shoot was done before the season started and will appear in the May issue of Playboy.

Although no other Dancing pro has posed for the magazine, Smirnoff is not the first from the show to do so.

Co-host Brooke Burke and competitors including Kendra Wilkinson, Lisa Rinna, Pamela Anderson, Holly Madison and Denise Richards have appeared in Playboy.

Will this hurt Ralph's chances? I'm going to say probably not, even though I'm sure Karina is hoping for a boost. But I'll also say if she's looking for a mainstream career boost to get her something else, I doubt that'll happen, either.

I also hope this doesn't hurt Ralph's chances. I'm liking him a lot, and am enjoying his dances. I liked their rumba a lot, and the story behind ot was sweet. Can't wait to see their waltz, I bet it will be beautiful.

Interesting hobbies Karina has there-boxing, target shooting, now posing for Playboy? Kind of random. I think it's all an attention/money ploy. I doubt anything will come from it, if that's what she's looking for. After a few days of controversy, once the show said all is okay with them, people seem to have moved on as to whether or not Mark and Pia are an item, and what'll happen to Kirstie next week.

As for Ralph-love him Right now Ralph and Hines are my top 2. He's seemed a little more reserved the past couple of weeks. I don't know if the judges undermarking (imo) his jive, and just random critiques they throw out are making him nervous or what. I hope he keeps up. He's so much fun to watch, and such a great dancer. I don't like Karina, but am enjoying her choreography. She doesn't get many chances to show it off. I've re-watched their jive so many times. That's been one of the best dances so far this season. If the judges can give crap like Mark's VW 8s and 9s, they better lay off the other dancers for stupid, minor things.

I hope Ralph is in the F3--to me his dances have been the most enjoyable and best executed. Wouldn't it be nice to think that there was no backstage manipulation with judging and such?

Wow!! I just LOVED their dance this week! Beautiful music, great story-telling, wonderful dancing, and amazing choreography. My favorite dance of the night, and I was really hoping they'd get the encore.

They are my favorite pair, and I really hope they make the finals. Ralph seems really sweet, and I'm liking Karina a lot this season. I just hope her Playboy spread doesn't costthem votes.

Look at this photo. He definitely is balding. Maybe he is combing over poorly. The Twitter photo wasn't that convincing. She is holding his hair on the side of his head.
