Poor Ralph - I'm willing to bet he has a pretty large fan base - so unless he cannot dance and must withdraw, he's be there next week. I just read on US Online that he is planning on dancing tonight.

Thanks for the info. Yikes, losing 4 days of rehearsal time isn't good. Praying he will be able to dance/continue, and that he'll be saved this week. I'm worried. I love watching them. Poor Ralph, and poor Karina!
Barring a shocker, I think Ralph is gone tomorrowThey certainly made it obvious tonight that's who they want gone. Given his very short length of rehearsal time, I thought his waltz was great. He's lucky he got an easy dance like that. I can only imagine if they had the quickstep this week. His insta-dance wasn't that great, and probably deserving of the scores. However, I thought everyones insta-dance was messed up. None of them seemed that great as a whole. I really hope Ralph doesn't wind up dropping out this close to the end. That'll just crush him and Karina (not to mention his fans) if they have to go out like that, given what a partnership they've had. I do hope Ralph is well enough to stay in it, but I don't want him in pain. I have chronic knee pain, and it's no fun. I'd hate to see him really hurt himself over a mirrorball trophy.
I think if their scores had been higher the fans voting for him to stay this season might have been able to save him. I think it is pretty obvious he will be the one leaving tomorrow night, but I would love to be wrong.

I'd have to do DWTS digging and research, but Ralph is trailing Chelsea by 9 points, and the rest by 6-8. With enough fan votes I think he could easily make that up and stick around. It's happened before. It did seem odd tonight how the judges seem to be pushing for his elimination. Maybe he's going to drop out so they know it doesn't matter? I really feel for Ralph and Karina. They've given it such a good go this season. I must admit I'd rather Romeo and Kirstie outlast Ralph, but I'd still be sad to see him go. I never really thought he'd come this far and do so well. I never expected him to be a serious threat for the finals, so I think that last spot will be a fight for Romeo and Kirstie. However, if he survives and comes back next week doing better, it's possible he could get a lot of sympathy votes. If he does drop out, I'm not looking forward to the long drawn out results show just to announce it. I remember when they announced Tom was withdrawing from the competition season 9, they still declared him safe at the start and at the end he said he was leaving.
He is always going to favor that knee because his pain was so great. There is no way, even if healed, he will trust it. I think he is going, either way tonight. If he drops out we can be sure they will make it as dramatic as possible.
It looks like a lock for Chelsea, Hines and Kirsty to be the final 3. So does it really matter in what order Romeo and Ralph leave?![]()
I only watch this show for Ralph. Last night I told my husband that Ralph should do the Crane Technique during his dance, like he did in the Karate Kid when his leg was injured. Absolutely loved it when Karina did what Mr. Miyagi used to do when he rubbed his hands together and then applied them to the injury to make it stop hurting.![]()
If there was ever a chance for the big shocker that would not really rock and upset the majority of the viewing audience, then this is the time for it.
I am going to hope for a fan save of Ralph tonight based on the way that the fans have come through for the underdog all season long everytime something has happened to one of them whether it was a fall or a crawling on by Len.
Of all the things in the world I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
I suspect Ralph is going to be getting a lot of sympathy votes - add that to his 80s fan base, and I'll be shocked if he's eliminated.
