I think Lacey was shocked at Rick's elimination.

But it was when they were announced as still in jeopardy...before the elimination.
Oh. I missed that.
Did you check upthread to see if Karalott or anyone else may have reported on it?

So, how much of this show is a popularity contest instead of a dancing contest? It seems obvious (based on Bristol's continued tenure), but I am way late to the party...Originally Posted by Bloomers;4096880;

I think Kyle/Lacey were fully expecting to be going home tonight. They had a bit of a delayed reaction when the result was announced. I notice some weeks they give the judges time to comment on the "bottom 2", but this week they didn't. Wonder what they thought of Rick leaving. Mark really gets that annoyed look on his face when they're in jeopardy or waiting for the results.
I went back and watched, but I didn't see Lacey or Kyle do thatThey were making some funny faces while waiting to hear their fate, but that's all I caught.
And what was up with Tom fake fainting at Taylor Swift? That almost looked real, but she had the same look on her face when Kanye rushed the stage at her MTV award speech. I know it was fake, but she looked like she wasn't expecting it.
I didn't see them do it. It must be my surround sound or something, but my son rewound it a few times so we could tell whose voices it was. It was strange.
Absolutely agree - Kyle up against an NBA player - he had to be doubting his fan base. I guess no one should underestimate the power of Disney.......Originally Posted by karalott;4096947;
And notice how the bottom 3 (or should I call them the 3 teams that were in jeopardy) were team Kristi. Interesting, no?
Not that I thought Rick was that great, but I'm more and more convinced that Bristol will be in the F3 - and that she'll end up knocking out Brandy along the way. Even if it's at the finale and she takes second to Jennifer.
I give up trying to understand this show - I did notice CA was absolutely agape in surprise that Rick was eliminated.

They don't have to be mean in their critiques, but they can be honest and fair.
This same scenario could also apply to Kelly Osbourne last year. She didn't deserve to come in third when better dancers were eliminated. Bristol should have already been gone I thought "Situation" was a better dancer, bad as he was. He at least tried Bristol doesn't seem to even try. The judges will never be fair they do as they are told by the producers. The show wants ratings and don't necessarily care what viewers think as long as they are making money. I seriously doubt Bristol or Kelly give a rat's butt that better dancers went before them.
When they were showing past contestants (Monday) I saw Jake Pavelka in the audience grinning from ear to ear. I could have bitch slapped him.
