No coincidence the gave Bristol a ballroom dance where she could remain in contact with Mark for the majority of the dance. It's when she has to go more than an arm's length away from him that she really turns into a clunker.
They could easily have given her the Mel paso, although I wouldn't have wanted to watch it.

It was nothing compared to Kelly and Louis.

They're def trying to help her. They have her Tango last week instead of PD as well.

If Bristol makes it through this week, eliminating someone like Brandy or Kurt or Kyle--we know Jen and Rick are going nowhere--I'll be royally annoyed. They'll probably work that angle esp. since tomorrow is election day with an expected majority shift towards "The Tea Party." Works nicely to have Bristol oust a deserving contestant. I'll zip my lip about the politics both on the show and in life now
