Dancing With the Stars Season 11 (Fall) - Spoilers/Speculation

I found it odd that the People list was basically names already rumored (except Kurt Warner). If that even represents half of the cast, it's going to be a looong season, imo. Lindsey Lohan would do anything and everything except own up to her mistakes to get out of rehab-but what a nightmare for her partner. I can't say having someone like Sarah, Bristol, or Tony would get people excited and pumped, but as long as the show brings in ratings, I doubt they care what people think (and of course they'll do like Kate and pretend everyone bows to their greatness). Melissa could have just been saying that, or it could really be someone big they think people will like. They better not mean any controversial reality D-lister as being the big name. In fact, short of casting Heidi Klum or Tom Hanks, I can't say anyone would be a big get. But we'll soon see. Who's coming back might be telling, too.

Sometimes with shows like this, I don't know if they are just spewing hype or actually believe it themselves.

As long as I'm entertained, I don't care that much who's on. My only thing would be no Jersey Shore trash, no mistresses, and no ringers. That shouldn't be that hard, right? LOL

no Bristol/Derek pairing b/c I like Bristol but I can't root for the golden boy

Don't really want Jonathan to get stuck with Kirstie Allie either

okay I'm on this thread way too much this morning! but just checked my twitter and sometime last night Chelsie tweeted that she was leaving Salt Lake City and wouldn't be back til November...(the dot dot dot was in her tweet)

I'd imagine she's returning, but I didn't really expect her not to.

Sounds to me like Chelsie is telling her fans she won't be doing DWTS this season.

I don't think so. I took it to mean she was leaving Salt Lake City for somewhere else (like maybe Los Angeles) and wouldn't have time to return until November. That would completely match with the DWTS schedule, so I think she will be returning. I could be wrong though.

Chelsie better be back The only issue is they have to have someone short enough for her. So unfortuantely she might have no choice but to get stuck with the biggest douche in the cast, just because they're the shortest male. Louis has the same problem, he has to have a female celeb short enough for him (but they've never had a problem there). Even when Louis hasn't been on there's been plenty of female celebs he could have been paired with, except in season 4.

Chances are, the pros might not be able to tell right away but I hope so. Screw your suspense building hype ABC!

I love playing detective, so if Chelsie's back, she might have to travel to wherever her partner is and that could be why she's leaving now. Really hoping at least for her, Edyta, Kym, Maks, Anna T, Tony, Jonathan, Alec, and Louis. I know I'll have pros in there I won't like but hope to have at least them. I feel sorry for the pros now because they're going to get questioned to death online whether they're returning or not. Of course, I'm dying to know, too

Personally, I think Tony Blair would be a big name and I would be shocked if he's on the show. I would also be pleased, because he's a guy who crosses party lines in America. Dems like him because he's a liberal and Repubs like him because he will stand with us when there is a fight and we need help. I suppose Ryan O'Neal is a big name, but kind of a has been. I remember him most from "Love Story" with Ali McGraw back in the '70's. I saw that show at least 6 times and cried every time. I hope she doesn't mean Betty White (88), because there is not a doubt in my mind that she would be Tony's partner. I just couldn't stand it if that happened to him again.

Not that this will come as a shock, but Derek is going to be back for season 11 (and finding out Friday who his celeb is). It was reported on twitter via DWTS Gossip. So I'm going to make a guess and say Mark is back, too (unless he decides to sit this one out). Wonder who will get the guaranteed winner this time. Karina has tweeted that she doesn't know, but that doesn't mean she won't be. It really makes me wonder now if Chelsie will be back and is leaving to go meet her partner. Although Ashly Costa tweeted her yesterday whether she got the show (assuming she means DWTS) and she said she didn't know yet.

Ryan O'Neal may be a hasbeen in a career sense, but I guess he's a big enough name because of his family, his sons troubles, and his relationship with Farrah. I'm neutral on the guy, but I have my doubts he'd last long. I'm also on the fence if Tony Blair or Sarah Ferguson were cast. I really don't think Tony would do it, but Sarah has said before she'd love to do the show. It's just people involved in politics, religion, or some scandalous figure are just so polarizing, reek of stunt casting, and aren't going anywhere any time soon if the show has its way. They get paired with the likes of poor Jonathan and Tony, who both really deserve a break in pairings. Betty White has continually said the older contestant slot has been done and wouldn't do the show. I love me some Betty White, but don't want to remember her as practically breaking a hip when she's being turned around.

I keep seeing "Rumors" of Vienna being on the cast of DWTS fall season, is there any truth to this or just a rumor?
