I'd echo Jonathan Frakes and his wife, Genie Francis. I was wondering if this show would ever actually stoop to doing an all couples/sibling/parent-child edition. They'd get my vote if they went that route.
Since we're talking Sci-fi style shows, I'd nominate Jensen Ackles of Supernatural. I'll take Anderson Cooper for the CNN personality. I wouldn't mind seeing Brooke Anderson, who co-hosts Showbiz Tonight. I know the show wants Sarah Palin, Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, or probably some other politician, but I'd hope they steer away from that route. I'd love to have a season without some over-polarizing personality that the show has to be nice to that takes the fun out of it (and lasts over better dancers and/or more likeable people).
I decided last night that if they can bring in Nicole as a non-ballroom dancer them maybe we should get the ultimate ringer on the show - Mikhail Barishnikov. We could pair him with Ashley or Edyta who deserve a ringer for a change.

I would love to see Jessica Simpson..she's not been as up in popularity recently, and when she was younger she always had trouble doing the dance moves to keep up with her teen queen counterparts (Britney, Christina). Plus, she would be HILARIOUS to watch.
Another pick would be John Stamos, but NOT WITH KARINA as she's said she'd like to happen. Yuck. That would ruin his participation for me.
Ray Ramano would be great.
It's highly unlikely but I also want some baseball players! Chipper Jones or Derek Jeter or Johnny Damon. Yowzer
Also, please please please keep Russell Hantz and any mistress off my screen. Do not extend their fifteen minutes, especially those women. Since when is it socially and/or morally acceptable, or a platform to gain fame, by sleeping with another woman's husband?

i would love to see anybody who doesn't have an extensive dance experience or is a dance pro.
no more figure skaters, or band singers/dancers ala Joey or Nicole.
Ooh! I also love the Basketts! Kendra would probably love that!
How about the sparkly singer or enthusiastic chime lady from the band, or Harold Wheeler himself?

Actually, he is 62--not at the peak of his skills like Nicole--so he wouldn't really be a ringer, probably be lucky to make the finals. So maybe this isn't such a bad idea!
