But they weren't previously on DWTS. Any former DWTS dancer is a reasonable choice for DWTS hostess if she has:

1. Personality
2. Sense of humor
3. Conversational skills
4. Stage presence
5. Isn't trashy
6. Isn't mean
7. Is popular

Melissa is all that in spades. She has more to offer the role than Brooke. I think she should at least be given the chance. In fact they should have been sharing the job all season and judge the viewer reactions to see who gets the job full-time.

Personally I'd prefer a female comic like Ellen (she's wasted on Idol) who can match Tom's quick wit. Marie Osmond is another former DWTS dancer with enough personality and popularity to comfortably do the job--and she's closer to Tom's age.

Pam can be very proud of her performance on DWTS. She was the surprise of the season. She not only danced well but played the roles of each dance better than any other dancer this season (as Bruno always noted)--and perhaps in this respect she was the best ever on DWTS.

It's always nice to see somebody known for being trashy find her inner elegance. Long may it continue!

Nicely put! I am a Melissa fan, so maybe I'm biased, but I really liked her segment last night. I thought it was cute, funny, and she did a great job.

I'm going to have to go with the displeased with Melissa group. Her demeanor would be appropriate in a 14 year old girl reporting for one of those Saturday morning kids' newsmagazine shows, but it is just embarrassing in an adult. I honestly felt almost bad for her last night - I would have felt bad if I hadn't been so annoyed.

Pam is gone. What a bummer.

Fun's fun, but Niecy should have gone this week.

There is no way that Pam should have gone before Niecy or Chad. Cheryl spent most of the time dancing around Chad - he hardly moves! And Niecy just isn't as good as Pam. As Len keeps reminding us "It's a dance contest"!

I'm still sad that Pam is gone.
I would have preferred Niecy to leave, or even Chad. He's sure good looking, but 1 of the least charismatic football stars I've ever seen on DWTS.

With Pam now gone, the only 1 I'm still focused on is Evan. He's been my pick from Day 1 to win the mirrorball.

I hated to see Pam go before Niecy who is getting on my nerves and Chad too, but mostly Niecy before Pam, if we are talking dance contest... I like Niecy but just not on DWTS and Louis I agree is becoming Corky II. Oh well, whatever...this is the most lackluster personality group in DWTS history, lol. The only one I'm really rooting for is Evan, followed by Erin and then if they are out, toss up who would be the most annoying win, lol. I hope Damien doesn't come back next season, he isn't strong enough to do the lifts or even the dips without almost dropping his partner. He could do some group dances but please, do not sacrifice Alex or Dimetry for a return performance.

Derek dances so quickly that he almost gives me whiplash. He is due a non dancer. I think that is why we think he is so good because he always has someone who can dance. Tony is always having to slow right down because he almost always has someone who cannot dance, and most of the time someone who is a lot older.

I think this is one of the most annoying casts ever. Louis and Niecy are just too silly for my taste. Chad is seemingly a nice guy, but all the flirting is over the top. Monica was on Chelsea Lately, and she stated he flirted with her too, so now I do not even take it with Cheryl seriously.

Nicole is still there because for some reason a huge mass of fans like Derek, and that helps. Pam is gone because a huge mass of fans do not care about Damian in comparison to the other pros. It is getting to the point where the pros are more of a star than some of the supposed stars.

It's down to the wire - F5 and the fan votes are definitely counting more and more every week, but I fear that with the ratings slipping each week so are the number of folks who care enough to vote - this in itself could shake up the season. I wanna know how every is falling in the fan vote - I dont' need numbers, but I'd love to have a ranking 1-5. Pipe dream, I know.

Their is no way on this earth that Niecy should go to F4 and potentially knock out Erin or Chad - or heaven forbid Nicole.
