that's only considering the fanbases they came in with. Since then Pam and Erin have picked up a lot of support from folks watching the show (like me) who didn't have any specific fan coming in, but am keeping an open mind about who I want to see dance another week.Originally Posted by dancingfan;3888133;
and how cheesy was it for Jake to take the mike and rant like that - Jake, go home, your 15 minutes is now officially OVAH!!!

Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see. :nono
nanarama:Can I just say how gorgeous Edyta and Alec were tonight? They're pure poetry to watch. Now if Jonathan and Anna perform anything like they did last season, I'll be extremely happy!
Edyta and Alec were magic, they are my favorite pros. I've noticed both always get the worst celebrity partners, so does Tony for that matter. Derek always seems to get the best partner. Other than Alec Derek is the best pro dancer but he deserves a bad partner once and a while. It would be nice to see Tony and Alec get a break.
Jonathan and Anna was a joy to watch too. Wonder why Alec wasn't in this season's competition??????
I thought Jake was going to pull a cry in when he was eliminated. When he grabbed the mike and showed his bottom side I wanted to barff. He was getting so full of himself his elimination was way overdue. His dancing was getting some better. He seemed to try taming his bad disposition. When he was dancing I only saw his stupid facial expressions...over the top. Bye bye Jake and don't come back.
Edyta and Alec were pure joy to watch. They are just beautiful together!
Perhaps this has been discussed, but did anyone notice that Chad & Cheryl were going in for a full kiss when they were announced as safe, but Cheryl abruptly turned her head. They almost got caught!
When Jake was thanking the Mavericks last night I believe he was referring to the Dallas Mavericks Basketball team whom I sure he follows since he lives just north on the outskirts of Dallas. Being a Tex girl I follow them too and they just beat San Antoio Spurs last night in Game 5 of the 2010 Playoffs. He probably knows some of the players.Originally Posted by Love_Me;3888285;

I have never seen a grown man cry so hard for something so superficial as losing a dance contest. These kinds of tears usually come from having suffered a real tragedy - like the death of a loved one. Jake is not playing with a full deck of cards here. Either that or he is auditioning for some acting gigs. No normal person would have acted the way he did last night. The only thing missing was a balcony for him to cry over.
I am glad Jake is gone, but I doubt that he is headed back to Texas anytime soon. Apparently he is going to Canada in order to extend his 15 minutes of fame. At least I can now once again enjoy DWTS from here on out.
I did notice that! She really got away from him fast. So is it that she doesn't want anything to do with him? Or does she not want anything to do with him - in public?Originally Posted by Jojo47;3888503;
He probably isn't used to being turned down, or why else hasn't he caught on by now - the thrill of the chase?
