Mark's doing his trademark "nerd" look early with the black short pants and white socks. He's so predictable. Surprised he's not also wearing glasses with white tape. But, Shannon is doing better than I expected.

Its very MJ also.

Shannon's jive was a little painful to me.

I am not jiving Brooke's dress. It looks like metallic mummy bandages.

Shannen needs to give herself credit. She's better than she thinks.

However, that wasn't good. She definitely struggled and her feet were everyone.

Len says she showed it was fun and energetic but lost control, legs could have been sharper. Bruno says he's liking the Heather mean girl here, kicks and flicks could have been sharper, thought she was more energetic than last week. CA says Mark was right to push her to make it harder.

They're being nice.

I actually expected much worse.

7? I'd say 5 or 6s would have been fine. 20 is a bit high imo.

I think that's Mark's other problem. If it's not the nerd or the frilly polka dots he dresses his partners in, he has a MJ complex. That move he did in the beginning of the jive I've seen him do so many times.

All the flack people give Edyta for her lack of attire, why don't they ever direct the same at Derek for dressing his partners so skimpy.

I wonder what Tom and the show would consider a "big upset"?

I think Shannen's jive was a tad overscored. I really didn't think it was that good. They better be nice to Aiden!

The judges probably scored Shannon higher than she deserved after they ripped into her last week. They might have felt bad about that.

Shannon is all arms and legs and awkwardness, like a bird trying to break free from its shell. But, given her limitations and Mark's difficult choreography, not a bad showing by Shannon.
