I got thinking this show must seem so foreign to Ashly. The last season she was on was season 3 and it's changed so much since then. There's still nearly all the same pros she competed against, and Tom and the judges, but everything else is different. I couldn't get over how wide her smile was last night.Originally Posted by mrsean;3861644;
I can only hope at 80 I could still seriously think about doing something like this. As some others already said, Buzz gives the show something and someone different to root for. I never would have thought they would have cast someone like him, who's more famous for walking on the moon than doing a TV show or something like that, but I am glad they think outside the box a little with their casting. He's such a sweetie, and probably could move back in the day. He wasn't great by any stretch, but oddly was a little better than I thought he would be. The next dance he has is the foxtrot, and I think that might suit him better.Count me in! The man is not only an American hero, he is a world hero. He's willing to challenge himself and to laugh at himself at the age of 80. Will he or should he win? No to both, but I love watching him and I love giving the viewers a chance to see someone who is really worth admiring. I hope only that he outlasts toxic Kate.

Love it. Buzz was charming last night. Yep, he dances like someone his age. Why bring on older stars if that will always be the downfall? Ashly exudes so much warmth. She comes across as a very good-hearted person. I enjoyed watching them but, of course, they can't go too far as the competition heats up.
