She has my votes
DWTS hasn't even started yet, we have no idea if she can dance at all, yet she already has your votes?Originally Posted by Marsha_Brown;3859266;
There are no rules for the criteria for voting.I have my own criteria (if I even take the time to vote). Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't vote for Kate even though I love Tony.
Although, I reserve the right to change my mind on that.

The Bachelor/Bachelorette series is a soap opera with unskilled actors, bad writing, and beautiful locations...it even edits the real moon!
Just curious...why does she have your votes?Originally Posted by Marsha_Brown;3859266;
Erin/Maks and Aiden/Edyta already have my votes, unless they totally bomb out (which I don't think/hoping won't happen). So it's not uncommon for people to already get their votes assigned sight unseenIf they bomb out, I have no idea, I guess I'll have to wait and see
I love Tony too, but I can't bring myself to vote for this couple because Kate is in the equation. He sounded more enthusiastic with Kathy Ireland and Susan Lucci, and we saw how great they were, dance wise. I really, really, hope Tony gets brought back for another season and gets a really good partner-one that isn't polarizing like Melissa, and one that actually stands a shot at winning. And maybe one that can compete against those that might be more popular, as I think that also hurt his chances in the finals before (Stacy against Drew/Jerry and Melissa against Shawn/Gilles).

Doesn't this go both ways? If you haven't seen her dance, then how can she not have votes?Originally Posted by StarryElf;3859409;
You have a wonderfully valid point.Originally Posted by Denna40;3859641;
About 4 seasons ago after we hashed it over ad nauseum, we came to the (sad but true) conclusion that this isn't a contest where the best dancer wins - there are way too many variables involved in "best". What we decided is that to a large degree this is a popularity contest where we hope the winner can at least at the end dance respectfully well, he or she must have given it everything he/she had - and that person must not be a professional. Then, not all of us of course will be happy, but we won't be completely hacked off.

Bury me in the WalMart parking lot -
Friends and relatives will come visit me.
Hmmm...interesting. I agree, she is a strong woman and she will do whatever it takes to accomplish her goals. However, I don't agree with being nasty in the process.Originally Posted by Marsha_Brown;3859525;
I wouldn't vote for Kate if she was the only one competing. I can't stand what I have seen of her.
