What is it with repeating songs this season?! Seriously, I don't get it. Can't they find any other song choices besides ones already used?

Aaron was overscored tonight, as was Joanna, but she's with Derek. I get the impression that the judges only pay attention to him, too. At least Joanna/Derek bumped weasel boy off the top spot. Karina doesn't look happy.

Mark got shafted but I guess they need to give Michael a break from being at the bottom. And I still think Mark is a threat to their beloved favorites. I'm hoping Aaron goes tomorrow. Michael will probably be down there, potentially Mark for suspense sake, and I'm going to guess either Kelly or Aaron. Please, please, please Aaron.

Wow, Mya only has 49? Maybe she'll go tomorrow. That would make me happy. I don't think that Mark danced as well as he did last night, but his scores were surprisingly low. Especially since he had to get a new partner at the last minute. They could have cut him a bit of a break.

I'm willing to put up with Mya another week if Aaron goes. I'll even put up with Joanna and Derek. And I'll be willing (very reluctantly) to sacrifice one of my favorites if Aaron goes. I'm hoping the high scores and the poor team dance will somehow be his demise. Maybe people being upset over Mark's scores, or Mya (if they like her) getting screwed over.

It would be great to get rid of Mya. I did not realize that her total was that low.

I do wonder if Joanna has something in her contract, or if the Hough/Ballas clan in general do, to last long. Seriously, as much as I enjoy Derek's dancing, I'm just ready for him, Mark, and his sister to all be out before the halfway point at some point

The DWTS Cast Agreements are written by lawyers for the BBC, dry as toast, and 100% focused on BBC's interests. I cannot imagine any contestant getting any extra consideration beyond that required by law, e.g., protections for minors such as Shawn Johnson.

It's because Shawn Johnson was a minor and the contract had to be approved by the court that we know anything at all about what's in the contracts. You can read her DWTS Cast Agreement at the link below, and the addendum her mother had to sign as her guardian. Since then, Derek has said the new contracts have more provisions and longer time frames.
