You know I hope they don't change the show too much. I like it the way it is except for the judges comments which I mute anyway, I'm pretty ok with it. They could get a better co host, someone that could take the pressure to always be funny off of Tom. I was thinking that they should change partners every week and go longer before anyone gets eliminated. That might mix it up even if they only did it for one or two dances it would be so interesting to see how that would work out and mix it up and see if someone shines or tanks with a different partner. They could always return to their original one.

Haven't had a chance to read any of the posts so sorry if I'm being repetitive.

my biggest turn-off about the show (besides professional dancers like Nicole) is how rude the judges are to some of the dancers. Making fun and being overly critical of people like Buzz and Cloris, is just being nasty IMO they're in their 80's for goodness sake, just how graceful do they expect them to be? If they can't be kind to the elderly contestants, then they shouldn't be invited to dance on the show. Nobody deserves to be berated on national television when they're doing all they are capable of doing, especially when it's due to age, which is a disability to the show. The judges only make themselves look like fools when doing this. I don't expect them to get 10's but 4's and 5's along with disparaging comments aren't called for either.

I agree with you on rudeness. Some of the comments made to Kate was uncalled for. I strongly dislike the woman - but, not so much that I relish seeing such ignorant comments. The judges need to learn to acknowledge effort even if the results suck.

What I would like to see is Dancer's-Choice. I'd like to see all the professionals select a former celebrity that they would like to have come back - be it potential or chemistry - let them choose. The competition will likely be good right from the beginning because the better dancers would likely be selected. This will bring back fan favorites - secure ratings - and be a 'fun' reunion for them and for the viewers.

Someone mentioned this last week -- they should switch out the judges for the pros that aren't competing that season.
