Hey, my Marching Band (Western IL Univ - shamless plug) was never invited to a TV show! We were MUCH better. Better uniforms, our drum cadence was better too. Oh, and no shades, we weren't full of ourselves. OK, the tuba guys were, but, well, they played tuba. Weird style of marching, look like robots.

Joss Stone is back to perform. Thank god it's not Selena Gomez (though my niece loves her).

Anna/Dmitry and Cheryl/Louis are the dancing pros for this number.

BTW, it's sad I remember this, but this was the song Emmitt/Cheryl danced to in season 3 for their cha cha. Though this isn't a performance, I've noticed how they're beginning to recycle a lot of the songs used in past editions.

There was a (brief) moment I thought about going to college in Texas, to march in the band, but, well, finances were the deciding factor. Our band director, Dale Hopper, was very widely known, wrote/arranged a great deal of marching band music. His drills were so elaborate and considering we marced over 300, and didn't just go back and forth across the field like UofI did, I think we were superb. We did get invited to Bears and Chiefs games, exhibitions to competitions, but never to a TV show. Bummer.

(Nothing like typing OT during filler)

Lowest scorers of the night up: Tom/Cheryl safe, Kathy/Tony in jeopardy

So Debi/Maks, Kathy/Tony, and Louie/Chelsie are the jeopardy couples. Am I missing someone?

Ok all this Marching Band talk must mean the results show is a total downer. I am lucky to be in Cali and able to find out the results. I can Sjip the USC band because I am a UCLA girl anyhow, lol.

    Tom and Cheryl, safe.

    Whoah.

Well, Kathy's in jep, so they got that one right, at least.

Frankly, even with the foot thing going on, I preferred Kathy (as co-lowest scorer) going out before Tom did.

Well, Cheryl gets to work around the foot and everything else going on with Tom for another week.

    Let's see how he does.
