I wouldn't be surprised if Hines is in the bottom 2/3, either, but I don't think he's going home. It's true, since votes are limited, people might vote for someone else if they think their favorite is safe. Getting high scores and judges praise, but being a huge front runner and crowd pleaser, probably helps cement those feelings. I don't really think DI is that accurate, when you put the other voting elements into it. When they get it right, I think it's by pure luck. I'm not sure how to read it, but maybe there's a pattern each week.
I think Hines could win, unless he winds up getting thrown under the bus in the finale. But I think compared to other football players who went out in 2nd place, he's probably got a much stronger fan base and presence.
