DialIdol & Fan Poll Discussion for DWTS **POSSIBLE SPOILERS**

I haven't visited this board in a year maybe two. Their predictions are way off.

Wendy was actually predicted in the bottom place last week and left.
The week before Dial Idol showed Romeo as last, but Mike left. Mike was third from the bottom and not very far at that in DI scores. He also was last in judges' scores both weeks.
DI has not been that far off so far.

Right now in the 3 votes, the same 3 contestants show up but in different order depending on whether it is the judges' score, the call in vote, or the combined score (DWTS). Those 3 contestants are : Kendra, Chris, and Sugar Ray.

I figure one of the three of them is going home.

Their 'predictions' are based on phone calls/busy signals - they do not include texting or on-line voting. When I vote, it's always on-line - as I suspect it is for a lot of people, since it's open til noon the next day and much easier than trying to phone in a vote in the small window they give.

Therefore the numbers are only a small sample - not always accurate.

Yeah, I know that is how it works and why I don't bother with them.

Well, if means anything, the last two couples booted also ranked at the very bottom of the judges leaderboard. Which, compared to the last two seasons, is a rarity to have the lowest scoring dancer booted. I'm thinking Kendra survives, SR goes home

I will tell you that Dial Idol was way off last week with their American Idol predictions. They showed Pia being in the top three and we all know how that turned out.

There will be a "shocking" boot each week -- just like on American Idol. On BOTH shows there is not anyone this year who is seriously hideous. Unless the judges really adjust the scores or the comments, the viewers votes will be the only cause for elimination. The winner of both shows will most likely not be the best dancer/singer....

In terms of AI, it's almost better for your career not to win. I gave up caring a long time ago about the best singer winning, and what the judges think, because their commentary is pointless. Since DWTS is a fun, cheesy dance show whose main prize is a mirrorball trophy, a possible career boost, and some cash, I don't care any more if the best dancer wins. I wouldn't want the absolute worst to win, but I want to like the winner, see them learn from the ground up, and have them have a positive attitude. Also not having the judges up their behinds all season is nice, too. More often than not, whoever the best dancer/ringer is I don't like. But what's nice about this season is that there's only one couple who I'd be disappointed to see win. I could live with any other outcome and be happy with it.

This week, I'll still predict Kendra's safe. Tony worried me on GMA today that he thinks there's a slight chance Romeo could be in danger. Besides not having the biggest fanbase or name recognition, I'd think he might be in good standing for the time being. I do think Kendra might have more of a fanbase voting for her. I'm not getting the judges love for Petra, so I wonder if she's going home sooner than even I think. Tonight I think it'll be SR/Anna leaving. Maybe Chelsea/Mark in the bottom 2? They put Jennifer/Derek in the bottom 2 last season once or twice, and we all knew they weren't going anywhere. Maybe for the illusion that Mark's grand standing backfired on him. I think Romeo or Petra may take their turn in the fake bottom 2 this week.

It bugs me when the celeb with a bigger fan base wins the season over someone who really worked hard and became the better dancer when it is all said and done. So yes it does matter to me, but it obviously doesn't matter to the majority of viewers.

As much as I like Sugar Ray, Dial Idol showed him on the DWTS tab on the bottom this week.

happens all the time - they ask us to vote for our favourite couple, they don't ask us to vote for the best dancers - they know and we know this show is a popularity contest and regardless of how well or not so well you dance, the 'fans' are the ones who decide.

Look at our F3 from last season - that was so totally different from what the viewers expected it would be - I remember early on predictions were Jennifer, Brandy and Audrina in the F3 - then we get Jennifer, Bristol and Kyle - I loved Kyle's dancing, and he did work it to get there - but Bristols' spin and point routine's clearly didn't earn her that spot.

that's why I dont think there's anyway the F3 don't include Ralph and Kirstie.
