Oh, I don't know that most of the women who watch DWTS also watch the Bachelor. In fact, I know of quite a few DWTS female fans that will have no clue as to who she is.

Yeah, but a lot do and now that Melissa is going to be on DWTS, a lot of Bachelor fans who were fans of Melissa's on the show might now watch DWTS (who hadn't previously) to see how she does and to vote for her. It might up ratings and bring in a lot of new viewers...that was the point I was making.

I watch both, aren't they in the same time slot? So it makes sense that a lot of the same viewers would watch.

That said, I really don't think I can stand to watch TB anymore with everything that has gone on. But I will be watching DWTS and it's mostly because Melissa will be on it.

Well more evidence this show is becoming dancing with the who's not stars. Melissa is not a star, and I am so tired of her already. Now this forum will be taken over with all the animosity towards a man nobody knows, and another of the shows I like being ruined by all the junk.

Best news I've read today!!!! Great move by ABC to compensate Melissa after the brutal televised breakup with Jason. Personally I think she was lucky to get away from Jason and lucky to have the experience open other doors!!!! I couldn't be happier for the way it worked out for both her and Jillian.

Do they usually show little segments about each contestant? I mean, not just in rehearsal?

If so, I'm really looking forward to seeing Melissa's, especially if there's new footage. Obviously, they probably didn't have time to do much other than on-location for tonight's episode. I can't wait to see Mel and how she dances.

I don't even remember Tony but then I never really focused much on the pros' info (but Maks is my first and only favorite from last season). I'll be checking out Dmitry, too, after reading so many favorable posts about him.
