I kinda get the impression from him that the dancing thing is a girly thing - did she really come back because HE wanted to do it, he doesn't act like it.
I think this is his problem in a nutshell. I actually believe he has some natural grace and ability, moreso than Ty or LT, but is embarrassed to fully embrace his talent because it isn't a "masculine" thing to do, in his opinion. He may have initially thought that the career boost appearing on the show would give him was worth the discomfort, and maybe he still feels this way, and will soldier on. Unfortunately for us, it's not worth our discomfort having to watch him.

jmo, but I think Woz's negativity and his bad attitude about the process is probably the reason he lost fan votes - he lost mine. If Chuck keeps up with the off putting comments, his ass will be grass.

I think you could be right about that. Looked what happened in season 6 after Shannon and Derek had their little rant about the judges.

I think it is disrespectful to make disparaging remarks about the judges; however, I have to admit that I was impressed with the way that the Woz beared the lion in its own den. He had signed a contract agreeing to their stipulations, and he backed down, but he went after them in a field of his own expertise, questioning people who blatantly, deliberately, and consistently give nothing more than a surface explanation of their voting system, and he demanded that they show him how they come up with what they called the results.

No other contestant has had the kind of genius or experience in that field to challenge them, so regardless of the fact that legally he successfully could not, I still applaud him for trying.

As you can tell, I wouldn't trust TPTB any further than I can throw them! This is a reality tv show geared for drama, and they have already maintained the right to tweak certain things for dramatic effects. That means to me that everybody in the bottom 2 is not necessarily in the bottom 2 by the correct vote, and sometimes if they "know" somebody is going anyway, that person might go at a different time.
There certainly isn't anybody checking up on them verifying for accuracy.

Or it could have been orchestrated for Woz to challenge and then validate the integrity of the system to counteract rumblings about the accuracy of the vote and TPTB's right to tweak.

I think so. In his intro bit he mentioned he was one of the newest faces on the country music scene (or something like that). If Chuck's issue is looking girly I have to laugh, considering how much more masculine some of the pro male dancers and male contestants (past and present) are compared to him and they aren't afraid to let loose on the dance floor. It might do Chuck some favors to open up and go wild.

Maybe they'll make it to the end so they can perform their freestyle to his "Stealing Cinderella" before Julianne takes her leave of DTWS to travel down that long country road wih him.

Cute thought, but I sure hope he doesn't make it that far!

I do think he sees it as a little feminine and he can't get past it. He acts like an awkward teenage boy. I don't know what the judges will do if their Rumba is poor because telling a couple they have no sexual or romantic chemistry will be embarassing for them. I just don't see Chuck pulling off a sexy dance so Julianne will prob do all the work once agaon. I just hope they don't over score them to keep the Houghs in it longer than one of them should stay in upcoming weeks.
