I love Erin and Maksim but have never voted before until last week! Loved their argentine tango! Fun chemistry between these two. I hope there are a lot of folks like me out there picking up the phone for them. I hate foregone conclusions.

They used to do one of those and showcase the final 4/5/6 couples. I don't remember them doing it after season 6, but with the popularity surge season 10 has seen, I was wondering if we'd get a TV Guide cover. I don't get TV Guide anymore so maybe someone who does can say whether or not all couples were showcased.

I've been saying that for weeks. I think it's fighting for 3rd place right now between Chad and Erin.

The dance marathon episode on Golden Girls was hilarious. The stunt double was so funny, and the look on Dororthy and Blanche's faces when she was cartwheeling and shimmy'ing aroung the floor was priceless. Brought back memories there, karalott.

I loved that episode. Especially the line Rose gave to her date when she was about to take to the floor "Stand back or you might get hurt". Hey, get a better looking wig and some really crafty camera/editing, and maybe no one will know the difference

Even if it is a fold out cover, TV Guide used poor judgement showing two of the couples on the front only. At this point, they should have included all four. Just another reason I don't subscribe I guess!

Yep, they have the cha cha left. I had it backwards with Chad and Evan, I thought Ocho was doing the foxtrot and vice versa. I think he's going to have the toughest time next week, but his samba should be fun. Unless Cheryl screws it up on purpose.



I finally got around to watching SNL and I worried Betty was going to fall down. I cringe to think what poor Buzz would have looked like had he lasted long enough to do a jive or quick step, and I don't think Betty would do much better. I want to remember her for what she's accomplished and being the spunky, sassy 88 year old, not getting made fun of because she's getting dragged across the dance floor. I've seen all sorts of reports everywhere about her doing the show, and Louis said he'd love to be partnered with her. I guess if you're going to have a clunker, might as well be someone sweet like Betty. Maybe they can get that stunt double they used on The Golden Girls, in the episode where she/Blanche/Dorothy entered a dance contest and tried outdancing each other. I think we saw "Rose" do splits and cartwheels

LOL Karalott - I loved that GG episode! I love Betty but I would be a nervous wreck watching her dance every week worrying that she would hurt herself. Maybe she can come on for a special dance with one of the pros on an elimination night......BTW they now have a Facebook campaign going to get Carol Burnett to host SNL if anyone is interested. I love her too - funny, funny lady!

So I won't get to watch live on Monday, but something to worry about until then: Tom tweeted that he'll be revealing something on Monday's show that'll surprise the couples and the viewers. No change in the vote split being 50/50 and there will still be 3 couples in the finale. Wonder if the DO is returning? I hope they don't do something stupid like they did in one foreign version of the show where they had them switch partners (I heard one girl quit on that version even though it was a one week thing).

I hope he's not leaving My other guesses would be something about a shake up with the judges, pros, hosts, the dance off returning and no one knowing in advance (I think they planned on it this season but then discarded it-probably because they were getting the results they wanted), or a twist that everyone has to be in the dance off, the audience votes (studio audience that is, right then and there). I don't know I would think if a pro had to pull out for whatever reason, it wouldn't be a surprise to them and would probably leak out.

Edyta also tweeted for the finale she and Aiden are doing their cha cha again.

Don't even think it! : There's no way Tom can leave, unless for some personal family/health reason. Without him, there's no show. Without him, the show loses its successful tone, and that delicate balance he maintains between taking it seriously and taking it with a grain of salt. It would not last more than one season without him. End of story.

Imagine my horror when I not only thought that, but who might be in line to take his job. I seriously can't believe Tom would be leaving. I completely agree that, like nearly every other reality show host, this show would lose something huge without him. He's so quick with the one liners and making an awkward or tense situation comical, has a great friendship with the pros (who else would let Maks pinch his behind every week), and of course can definitely go head to head with the judges without making it look desperate or awkward. If they lose the band, all 3 Stooges (even though I'd miss Len and Bruno), or Brooke, I don't think it'd matter. Obviously the show isn't getting cancelled. Hopefully it'll be much ado about nothing and Tom's just doing this so people will tune in in what's turned into a predictable semi's week.

I just hope it's not bad news, not a last minute shake up to the format that'll look even more manipulative, and not something that's going to scream jump the shark. Tom hints it'll be a surprise to the couples as well. I wonder if, because Len is doing Strictly over in Britain in the fall, if maybe it's something to do with him. I doubt they'd do anything serious or show shaking that'd rack the couples nerves or put a damper on everyone's night. He says it's "fuel for the finals" so it sounds like something to do with the format
