I went to the abc website last night and watched all of their rehearsal videos and I think Mark and Lacey are going to be awesome. He can do the splits and also the splits with his legs straight out. I was blown away. These videos might have been right at the beginning of their practices in August, so they all might be a lot better now. However, by just looking at these videos, I would say the worse ones are Macy/Jonathan, Chuck/Anna T, Ashley/Edyta, Tom/Cheryl, Michael/Anna D., Kelly/Louis Natalie/Alec. I think Joanna/Derek are going to be really good as is Aaron/Karina, Debi/Maks, Mya/Dmitry. Those who are just OK are Donny/Kym, Louie/Chelsie, Melissa/Mark, Kathy/Tony. Of course, these rehearsal videos weren't very long.

Just two more days!

Are you all going to watch the Emmy's Sunday night. I'm looking forward to Maks/Karina dancing and to see if Melissa and Tom Bergeron get emmys.

Please don't say that about Joanna. I want her gone, gone, gone. Same with Derek. My TV may not survive if not only she wins, but if another Hough wins. I really hope Aaron doesn't last long. I find creepy and douche like. No surprise at those who aren't doing great, as an article said not only was Ashley's dancing awkward, but he was just plain painful to watch. They did say Chuck was going to be a pleasant surprise so maybe these were from earlier in the season. Macy reportedly doesn't even want to be there. I'm disappointed with Natalie. I didn't really know if she would do well since there's so little fanfare, Alec doesn't seem to have the popularity of Dmitry, Derek, Mark, and Maks, and there's some others with stronger fan bases. But I'll be bummed for Alec. Same with Louis That's why I wish the producers would be a little more generous than let the same pros luck out season after season.

On the women's front, I still predict Macy as the first boot. From the men, hard to say, but I'll say it'll be between Chuck, possibly Louie, and Tom.

^Just from reading that, I doubt they will work it out. It sounds like he is more into her than she is into him. Too bad.

From reading different forums, some believe this was all a publicity stunt all along. I don't believe that, at least not from Maks. He seemed to love Karina and even if his claims about loving her from the second he saw her and having this decades long crush may or may not have been true, I believe they had something. What made it go south I don't know. They got tons of publicity and offers they probably wouldn't have had on their own. Maks seemed very eager to get married and have kids right away, whereas Karina wanted to wait. People speculated at the fact she was often seen without her engagement ring. I don't fault them for not having had a date or not wanting to reveal it publicly just yet. Even less than a week before the break up, Maks was still talking about the wedding and wanting to have kids and saying he'd do it now if Karina was ready. So maybe there was just different expectations they couldn't work through, maybe she was just on the rebound, maybe something did happen a little deeper. It was said Maks called the engagement off and he told Radar Online he realizes being in the public eye people will want to know but for now he and Karina wanted to keep it private. If people had to choose Camp Maks or Camp Karina, Maks would probably come out on top, and Karina likely knows that. I don't know if they'll get things worked out but hopefully they can still remain friends.

It truly hurt to say that Joanna looked good in her rehearsal. She can really move her hips. I want her and Derek gone asap. I just hope a lot of DWTS fans watched The Superstars and saw how she behaved, but I doubt if they did. I only watched it because Maks was one of the stars on there.

I think I pretty much agree with you on the goners, but I have a feeling that Louie and Chelsea might stay awhile. Not because of him, but I think viewers fell in love with her last season with Ty. That might carry over this season with Louie.

I do get worked up when some pros like Maks, Tony, Edyta, Kim, etc get real duds and Mark, Julianne, Derek seem to get good partners every time. A lot of it comes down to fanbase though. Just look at Sabrina Bryant?, Mark's partner a few seasons ago. I thought she would be the winner from night one and she was sent home week 6 after scoring a perfect score in week 4.

I really think Maks' feelings for Karina are sincere, I don't know about hers. I'm not saying they weren't, I just can't tell. I wish they could work things out, but I agree, I hope they can remain friends.

What karalott said is how I feel about Melissa and Mark. I know she will be popular so I'll deal with it. But I already dread that it will involve Mark. The most annoying pro ever. At least I enjoy Derek's dancing and his win with Brooke was earned. Effort and good dancing, I can live with. Spastic dancing with lazy recycled choreography like Mark, get off my screen. But Mark's gotten two gifts as partners and pretty much two trophies with little work on his part except showing up. It seemed like he tried to screw it up sometimes with the crappy choreography, costumes and his obnoxious faces while dancing.

Joanna is not going far because she is not going to be popular with viewers. But her dancing is good. Aaron is in the same boat. Not going to be popular but seems to be pretty good dance wise.

Natalie seems to be pretty good but not sure if she will stay long with Alec. He is good but Alec's not as popular as Maks, Tony or Derek. I do not put Mark in this category. Whenever he is not with his gifts of partners, he leaves early. He probably has less fans than Tony, Maks and Derek but his fans are the types to vote for hours. Alec has less fans, it appears, also not the types to vote for hours.

Wind Dancer, Melissa Rycroft has been nominated for two performances in the same category, the Best Breakthrough Performance. She is nominated for The Bachelor After The Final Rose and DWTS premiere performance where she stepped in with only two days to rehearse before the show aired.

That category is voted on by the viewers at www dot tv dot com/breathrough. I'm not sure if we can post direct links to this.

They started out with 15 nominations for us to vote on and now it's down to the top 10. Both of Melissa's are still in the running. Tomorrow, Sunday, the category will list the top 3 and we can vote for our favorite for the Emmy. We get one vote per day and it ends tomorrow because the Emmys air on CBS tomorrow night and the winner will be announced.

I hope Melissa wins for DWTS.

Melissa will be on GMA Monday morning. According to her twitter, I think she will be interviewing the celebs on DWTS sometime, because she asked people if they had any questions for them.

I read an article the other day about Mark Ballas and it said he is 22. I thought he was older than that. I don't know why I thought that , because he certainly acts 22 or younger sometimes.I suppose Derek is around the same age, huh? How old is Lacey?

I went to the ABC site too, and much as I hate to say it I was most impressed (from a dance standpoint) with Derek & Joanna. Mya and Louis and Mark & Lacey also look very good.

So Debi is first on Tuesday, Melissa is second, and no shock that the beloved Derek will be second to last (and of course that means I can't just get Joanna out of the way, either). I hope her lack of fanbase does her in and/or that Derek can't stand her so there's no obvious chemistry, their dancing suffers, and people vote them off, or that other couples surprise, have bigger fanbases, and do loads better. But who am I kidding, Derek won't be gone anytime soon, and neither with that whining fake model b%^&#.

I read an media article that mentioned how twitter has brought DWTS to a new era. Contestants were giving themselves away before they were officially revealed, announcing their partners before the official reveal (which is probably GMA ended up not airing it), giving out their dances and day to day rehearsal tidbits and now giving out their numbers. But what does it matter? It's not like anyone can call now and vote, and unless you're an obsessed fan or obsessed contestant probably wouldn't Though I think this may be the one season where the celebs go overboard in voting for themselves (some of them). I honestly can't believe Joanna/Derek will win, but they either need to be Gilles or Kristi standard or have the judges totally going OTT with their comments and scores. No shock on Mya or Mark doing good. I predict Mya as a good bet for the final 3.

On semi-DWTS related news, Strictly Come Dancing just started up their 7th season last night and tonight. Though I can't watch it here, from what I've gathered, former winner Alesha isn't making a big splash as a judge, the dancing is mediocre, the favorites aren't living up to the hype, and the having too many ballroom dances in the first night was boring. And the group dance was a mess.
