Exactly, it is not their doing something, It is about being in view, surposedly doing their own thing when others were being interviewed. It does not matter the number of feet they were behind. It is being in the picture. Like being on the cover of People magazine. Everybody who did not know them will see their picture on the magazine when they go shopping. It is about exposure and being subtle about getting it. Did you not notice the handler kept moving to block the view. If there was nothing wrong. she would not have tried. When they were blocked, they moved to the middle between Derek and Lil'Kim. Melissa looked at the camera and moved till she had the better exposure and planted herself there. At the begining. It was Tony who was checking the camera. It is playful and juvenile to wave, jump etc. What I saw looked very mecenary. so subtle it worked.

Nope, still don't see what you see - and if that handler was supposed to move to block the view, she did a very poor job.

I guess we just agree to disagree. I didn't see anything calculating at all. I don't know how many other of the videos you've seen, but most always you'll see the other dancers in the background. I didn't see the brunette as trying to block anything, because Melissa left about halfway through the video & the brunette was more distracting (to me) than anything. I wouldn't have even noticed Woz & Lacey & Tony & Melissa if I wasn't looking. Oh well, I'll have to pay closer attention to everyone's future "behind the scenes" videos. I enjoy those anyway.

We liked to draw a line under this particular conversation now, please.
It seems to have run its course.

    Thank you.

I would like to plug an LA source for the backstage interviews all in one place. Go to Red Carpet at the KABC site for George Pennachio, the Entertainment reporter for the local ABC station, to view his interviews. Currently the first page has the Tues night pieces and page two has the Mon night pieces.

I particularly enjoyed the Mon night interview with Cheryl and Gilles. You get some insight into the process and how much Cheryl brings to their team. Other pieces you might miss are George's stand-up sets which also give insight into the show and the process.

I love those interviews! That site is one of my favorite if not my very favorite, place to find interviews.

Gilles & family is supposed to be in People. I don't know when, but I think they're doing the photo shoot today.

According to ET, Mel, Lil Kim, Cheryl did a photo shoot for US Weekly. I think there may have been a couple more but I don't remember who else.

It's interesting that the advertising angle for this season is that it's "the MOST comptetive season ever". I feel that it is certainly one of the more competitive seasons, what do you think?
