Hmm - two flashy pros with a struggling amateur student. How is this set up going to help the contestant? Viewer eyes will be following the pros and the contestant will get lost somewhere. There is going to have to be some inventive choreography so that doesn't happen.

I don't know. But all the women have to do the same .The men do get used to one partner, so I wonder how they will do? I am looking forward to it

I've seen people on another site say they that'd vote for whatever trio Tristan is in (I guess Katherine/Mark), because it's Tristan. I'm not really sure what point it proves, because he's there for one dance, and that's it, and I'm sure Katherine would do fine advancing without another pro. But it made me wonder if this whole trio experiment was to do just that, have fans of the pros helping out vote for that couple, or if it'll make a couple stumble and possibly cost them their chances. It works fine in pro numbers to have one female member and several male members, but they're pros. I hope this isn't a crash and burn and big mess. I don't really see any huge fireworks happening in rehearsals between the two pros, if that's what the show was hoping for. And, of course, we'll see what happens if any of the troupe is involved and whether those particular members are advanced as pros next season.

William in this video clearly said he has a MALE PRO completing the trio so Wikipedia is wrong about Sharna Burgess dancing with them.

According to DWTSGossip, the trios are:

Maria/Derek/Henry
Melissa/Maks/Val

Disappointed about the two troupe members, but maybe this will tell me if it's me or if those 2 really do mug and hog the camera during the dances. I am sort of surprised that any of the couples would pick someone from the troupe, or that the show would even have that option on the table. Which is why I think this also counts as an audition round for those two. Hopefully it fails.

Donald is dancing first, and William last tomorrow night. Now, I know William went third last week. But what's the deal with always saving him until last? We already know how the judges and audience will react, so that's not a huge surprise.
