I've seen reports that Melissa is back rehearsing. Looks like she is recovering from her concussion.

Unknown is Gladys and Gavin (both have the samba). Tonight Carlos Santana was supposed to kick off the show, Cheryl and Karina are doing a ballroom battle, and tomorrow starts the dance off where the judges get to keep their favorites around.

In international DWTS news, the Australian version started up with Mel B taking over as co host (how I wish she were co-hosting our version), and former pro Damian Whitewood is competing on there, partnered with Russell Crowe's wife Danielle Spencer. I guess every version is the same; if they can't get the A-lister, they'll get the closest thing to it.
It's interesting that they're already getting their dances for next week when the results show hasn't aired. Maybe I've never noticed before, but is this common? Since I really think Gavin is going home, does it mean something that he isn't on the list you have so far?
No, it's common for them to get next week's dances by now. It just doesn't always get leaked to the outside world right away.
Everyone gets an assignment, since they don't know who's on the block yet.

Double elimination next week. I'm guessing it's like season 9, where the lowest vote getter gets sent home, and the other two are in the dance off. Doesn't the dance off go for 3 weeks, or are they making this up as they go along?

Not sure where to post/ask about this, so will do it in this thread. Are these rumored show romances true:
- Derek is crazy about Katherine ~ are they a couple?
- Tristan & Kym were dating, but broke up. Could be getting back together?
- Maks & Karina are possibly heating up again? Or she could be getting cozy with Gavin? What gives?
Maybe this is all hogwash. Are any of them remotely close to being true?
Looks like 20/20 will be airing a special about DWTS after the show on Monday night. It will feature interviews with former contestants.
Even though she allegedly broke his heart, I loved when Maks/Karina were together :biglove However, I doubt they're in the mood to reconcile. I was looking to see if they hugged when Gavin was eliminated, but the cameraman focused solely on Gavin and I lost sight of Karina in the crowd. And it looked like Maks was focused on getting to Gavin. Tristan is reportedly dating an Australian actress (can't remember her name), so I doubt it's him and Kym. Mark has a girlfriend, Maria has a long term boyfriend, so my money would be on Katherine/Derek. However, every season there's rumors of romance. Last season Rob Kardashian even said that the people hooking up were married! Later he said he was joking. It's practically the #1 question of the paparrazi, so they could just be making it up to get people talking. However, my money would be on Derek and Katherine.Quote:
