MELANIE BROWN - "Mel B.," a.k.a. "Scary Spice," is best known as a member of the Spice Girls, the hit British music group that put "girl power" on the map and took the world by storm in 1996. For the first time in six years, she reunites with her four bandmates to embark on a world tour this December. Brown is also a mother, entrepreneur and actress who starred in Rent as Mimi on Broadway, in The Vagina Monologues in London, and hosted the British TV series This is My Moment. She is partnered with MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY, who returns for his fourth season.

ooh, I never knew that she had played Mimi. Interesting casting... She's another that needs a quick PR salvo, a la Heather Mills. Hopefully she gets it.

I'm not at all excited about them. I've never liked her and for some reason I got turned off of Maks a bit towards the end of last season. He was too cocky and just too much. Sighs, hopefully he will turn it around this season and this will be a great pairing.

Eddie Murphy is the one who came off badly in her recent scandal, so I don´t think she needs the whole Heather Mills treatment. Mills was generally believed to be the liar in her situation, but Melanie was clearly and completely vindicated in hers thanks to the miracle of DNA testing. Sheś also apparently gotten married since then (obviously not to Murphy), so thatś another plank in her putting scandal behind her.

Ahhh... but recently there have been a lot of accusations about her financial and housing demands that have made her look like a greedy little twit. But no, she doesn't need the volume of PR work that Heather Mills did... just similar work.

I'm looking forward to seeing her dance, but more on seeing who comes to watch her dance. Could you just imagine Posh gracing the show with her presence?

Actually considering how much she and her husband have been fame ho'ing lately because they've crossed the pond and have some sort of show or something, I wouldn't be at all surprised if she used this opportunity to get her too skinny mug out there once again.

Whatever the problems/scandals/dramas/etc surrounding Mel B, she's still one of the spice girls! I used to adore them (go on, LAUGH!) and still do... (I'll wait til you stop laughing...).
