Boston, if Tori Spelling is on the show I may be forced to skip this season or wait to tune in after she is voted off. Can't imagine too many Spelling fans and it does require our votes to keep them coming back.

I don't think a show with just pros would be a hit. They have those types of shows on various cable stations and they aren't popular enough to make the major stations. Unfortunately. They need the stars to get those people who aren't die hard fans of dance to tune in. Plus, a lot of them watch just to see who will fall flat on their face (who will be the next Tucker or Billy Ray or even Master Pathetic) so they can laugh and gossip about them.

I would love to see a show with just the stars but it would never make it.

Actually, I don't know what it is about this show that's so addictive! I usually don't recognize even the names of more than half the 'stars', but still am a faithful watcher, even though the dancing on the real ballroom shows is so much better. (This year, I recognize Floyd mayweather, Marie Osmond, Wayne Newton, Jane Seymour, Scary Spice, and Mark Cuban; have no idea who any of the others are)
