6/8 Show Discussion **SPOILERS**

I think watching this now that one of the keys is that the better couples aren't afraid to touch each other. Carlotta is hanging all over John, even AFTER the dance, and it conveys the closeness the judges obviously want to see.

Rachel was kind of clingy too, as well as having a few moves practically straight out of the Stacy's Mom video pole dancing sequence.

As I said I know nothing about dancing. I didn't think that they were that much better than the others. I like John and he looked like he was having fun but I was watching him closely and he didn't do THAT much better.

I wonder if the pro dancers are jealous that this format with the amateur celebrity dancers are getting such good ratings on this show when there shows get buried on some obscure cable channel when they perform on TV. I'd like to think they are just happy with the exposure for themselves and their niche, and they prob. are.

So is the couple eliminated based on last week's scores (judge and audience) or are the scores from the judges this week added on. If so, why?

I think he did, because unlike Whatsisface the Boybander he realized it wasn't simply about moving fast around the stage, there had to be a gliding motion as well.

He might not have been that much better than Rachel though, but that was a different dance.
