Thank you for the link. It was an interesting read.
What I found most interesting was that out of the nine couples evaluated, the author ("Ballroom Judge" Stevens, who I guess writes a blog) didn't agree with the DWTS judges scoring on any of them. Not one.
In fact he was quite emphatic ("highway robbery," "way overscored for such a sad performance," etc.) that the judges blew it on every call. He criticized Len as much as the other two.
This tells me two things:
1. Judging ballroom dance is not an exact science, if reasonable minds can so markedly disagree. Another way to put it is that it's not just about the dancing. It's about who or what the person likes.
2. I find it very hard to believe that the DWTS judges were 100% wrong and the blogger is 100% right, which suggests to me that Phillip Stevens is just another guy with an opinion about the show, and a pretty high opinion of himself.

The only hit I get from Googling "Phillip Stevens ballroom" is a dance instructor at the Fred Astaire franchise studio in a small town in Wales.
He appears to be very young, was "top novice" in 2004, his hobbies are movies and home improvement, and his favorite color is blue.
Is this the guy?

Okay--men here--this has been bothering me so I decided to just ask--are those Joanna Krupa-style (and Lisa Renna style) big squishy lips attractive to some men?

I finally decided to ask because even as a woman I'm usually pretty accurate about what aspects of women are attracrtive to a majority of men.

And I've never seen men go gaga about that kind of lip-injection work.

All opinions welcomed here--also wondering if that photo of Joanna K on the Playboy cover is considered "Sexy" by many/some/a few men?

Thanks for any feedback on this very pressing issue.

I can't speak for all guys, but this is how I feel:
Yes, Joanna is attractive, or she wouldn't be one of the most successful models in the world.
But, some of the most attractive people I've ever met are completely uninteresting and unattractive to me once they open their mouths and demonstrate that they are shallow, conceited, mean or crude. Sorry for the cliche, but real beauty comes from within.
I'm not a porno guy. Never have been. But I don't care what other people do. So I really didn't look at the photo - not like I'm some Amish dude or anything - I just didn't care. But I'm sure it's a very nice photo.

Actually the photo of her on the cover shows her about as covered up as she is on DWTS. A little more plunge to the "neckline"--but that's about it.
But it looks kind of biker-chick-ish--which makes me wonder what demographic they're going after--Amish dudes aside.

Oh, and on the lips, I never really noticed......but I hear this question from women a lot. As in, "Do you like those big puffy lips on that cheap girl in the little dress over there?"
In those cases, I do what every other guy who's not a moron should do. I respond, "uh, no, of course not...what girl are you talking about?"

I find Joanna to be attractive, and much like other men/women who look perfectly fine and beautiful, don't get why they start messing with their bodies like that. They become almost unrecognizable and like a wax figure. A hotel I used to work at had a guest staying with us, and she probably had a very beautiful face at one time. But you could tell she'd had surgeries, and I don't know what she had done with her mouth, but her lips were half puffy/half flat, and when she talked it really looked like her mouth wasn't moving.

As for Joanna's Playboy spread-from a female's perspective obviously I just think it's not the big deal it once was and that in her case is more for attention and to keep her name out there. But I don't think Joanna has ever done much modeling outside the lingerie Maxim type anyway. And this is probably a boost for votes, which is why I don't really agree with it being released before the finale. Not only that, but I'd be kind of feeling awkward backstage knowing everyone could have seen me in my birthday suit. But if it works for her, whatever. And I realize that's the entire point

Could be worse. Kim Kardashian must have felt weird knowing that anyone of the crew members or cast saw her sex tape.
