The Cut Moves to Fridays at 9:00 PM ET/PT beginning August 5

True, but I also think this could have been a two-week move because of CBS having Veronica Mars on Fridays at 8:00 PM, and The Cut is a much better fit than 60 Minutes II after it.

Do note: There won't be an episode next Friday (August 19) because CBS already had an NFL Preseason game scheduled for that night.
