None of these contestants are clothes designers so I am curious what Tommy has in mind. He did say he was looking for someone to design a new line. Maybe be the idea person behind someone who can translate their vision to cloth.

Tricking out a car? I see several men up to the task but that is about it. If they choose teams again without knowing what the challenge is there will be some regrets I bet.

I like this show even though it is a blatant and, so far, awkward rip off of The Apprentice right down to the moon in the sky shot.

I like Tommy's edges! I didn't expect that.

The dramatic and funky blonde had every right to be pissed they did not move her leather and fur coat out of the rain. She worked very hard on the scaffold as others sat on the sidewalk and watched. She looks a lot like Roseanne Barr.

I have a feeling that just wants to "Trump the Winner": have them as a spokesperson for his company, not really doing anything productive for the company just as the previous Apprentice winners are doing. They're not going to design anything for him.

Re: why they will be customizing a car.....

These designers have their names on everything from towels to luggage (probably even cars like Eddie Bauer does), so it stands to reason he would want to know their level of taste/class or lack of, as well as their ability to design clothing.

I have a problem with Tommy not knowing the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. He said the primary colors are red, white and blue. Minus the white and add yellow, and it's right. How can someone design and not know? I'd have better luck with a 3rd grade class.

I was not impressed. I remember how Project Runway drew me in right from the start. What made that show stand out was the individuals all had to produce something from day one; none of this faffing around in groups. It just seems like an excuse to produce interpersonal drama. Personally, I'm more interested in what the contestants can do.

I plan to keep watching; hopefully some of the personalities will grow on me.

I thought this was going to be a clothing show, but it turned out to be nothing more than a Trump ripoff. I won't be watching again.
