I think the show is going to be great tonight. Since these people all know each other fairly well, I'll bet we get some pretty interesting conversations as well as dynamic game play.

Do any of you have someone in particular that you are rooting for?

Martin is currently on probation for his 64th arrest. I hope that doesn't break his concentration, although it should be old hat by now

I didn't know Timothy and Joshua were brother-in-laws.

    I'm rooting for Allison!

64 Arrests?!?! Really? Oh my god, I had no idea. What did he do? (This time, I mean...)

He attends protests all over the country for various things, and usually gets arrested.

Here's a decent article on him, which although isn't too kind, is fairly accurate:

I cant remember if it was John Spenser who was wearing four pairs of glasses....but I would give him the edge in terms of mental alertness

Poker is such a psych out game....

I'm hoping Schiff wins, but it'll probably be Busefield.

Wow, that is quite an article about Martin Sheen, John! Thanks for posting the link. I really had no idea that Sheen was such a "moral" activist. I loved him in Badlands and Apocalypse Now but that has been the extent of my interest in him. In fact, I can't think of any other starring roles I've seen him in, just a few other disposable supporting roles that could have easily been filled by anybody. I've never seen an episode of The West Wing.

I liked Martin in The American President too. This should be a fun show.

ETA: After reading this I've decided I'm definitely rooting for Martin tonight:

"George W. Bush, he says, is a "thug," "dull," "dangerous," "a bad comic working the crowd," a "moron," and a "white-knuckle drunk" in denial about his past difficulties with alcohol."

I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star in somebody else's eyes... but why... why... why can't it be me?
