    Charlie Sheen and 2.5 Men

I can't believe there isn't a thread for this show, but I've gone back a long way and used the search engine and not found it, so...
The show's been cancelled for the remainder of the spring. All the filmed shows have been shown. Charlie Sheen had another of his rants, and managed to insult just about everyone but his fellow actors.

I do not think there is a studio that will touch him. He said he could go make movies with the big stars...yeah good luck on that one. He has not hit rock bottom and probably will not until he "accidently" has an overdose and not survive. He has enough money to live on... well maybe not, he will have it gone up his nose or arm in a few years.
He tried to call CBS's bluff, but they called his.

I feel for the crew of the show. These people have now been put out of work because of his ranting and carelessness with his own life.

Whatever sympathy I had for Charlie Sheen is dwindling if not already gone. I can only hope that he sees the err of his ways before its too late.

I absolutely love this show. Charlie Sheen is a complete @ss. He has no idea what he did to the crew and his co-workers. He just can't keep his big trap shut. I'm banking on this show will not be back next season. It is already cancelled for the rest of this one. Sad, bc it was a very funny show.

He's acting like a spoiled child who isn't getting his way. He should've stayed drunk, he'd still have a job.

I don't expect it to come back ever - Lorre doesn't need the show - but Charlie probably does.

I have never understood the show's popularity. I just don't get it and what ido get about it, I don't find funny. Anyway, I know many just love it.

I heard an addiction specialist on The Today Show this morning say that his behavior is not that of a sober person, so the fact that he claims to be clean is not a given. And the fact that he may sound sober in that phone interview is for the untrained ear. He's still using in their opinion.

It's funny because as I listened to his rantings in that phone interview, it reminded me of another famous actor who is so full of himself. His initials are MG.

I used to love this show, but just cant bear to watch it now. As silly as it sounds, I feel like I am part of the enabling when I do, lol. I think of some the more recent shows and now realize he wasnt ACTING, he was pretty much being himself.
I feel for John Cryer and Angus and the rest of the cast and crew, and would watch if they went on w/o him. That totally throws the whole premise for the show tho so maybe they can do a spin off of some kind?

for me - it's either all of them or nothing. The show is what it is, and I like it - take anyone away and it's not the same.

I've never really found it funny either, Debb, especially since after a while it's basically the same thing over and over -- Charlie the drunk womanizer who wants his needy brother Allan out of the house. The only characters I enjoy at all are Berta and Rose. Hmmm, I'm trying to think of who MG is??
