Re: Giudice Trial on Bankruptcy Fraud Charges

After pleading the 5th amendment at his pre-trial deposition, Joe Giudice withdrew his Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition. He is, essentially, at square one but without the threat of a Federal criminal trial for bankruptcy fraud. Teresa did not withdraw from the bankruptcy, and still petitions the court for discharge of her personal debt. I think she will lose.

In either case, they still owe about $11 million to their creditors, all of whom can now sue them for it.

Someone said they did not file tax returns. That is the deepest dodo they are in.

Worse. They made up (fabricated) tax returns and offered them in evidence in a Federal court. That's fraud and perjury.

Re: Giudice Trial on Bankruptcy Fraud Charges

The consent order allowing Teresa Giudice to withdraw her Chapter 11 peition was signed on December 14th. Accordingly, she will not have to stand trial on fraud charges. This makes for a very merry Christmas for all the people the Guidices refused to pay for goods and services. Ho, ho, ho.

According to the consent order, Teresa agrees to waive discharge of her debts, and acknowledges that she wishes to resolve Sywilok's proceedings against her "without the need for further inquiry or litigation, and without her making any further admissions.
