That would be John Candy.Originally Posted by BlondeOne;3922318;

John Candy - what a genuinely good human being.
Jim Henson really got to me in a big way. I mean, in my mind, it was the death of my childhood. I'd grown up on Sesame Street, the Muppet Show, and Fraggle Rock. It was heartbreaking to me that someone who had created so much magic was gone so soon. So yeah. Not the most famous or glamorous pick, but Jim Henson was the first celebrity death to really affect me.

And Jim Henson's death was so unnecessary! He had strep that went untreated.
Count your blessings!
Princess Di, MJ, and Heath Ledger, and Lena Horne.
Princess Di, I was just glued to the TV, not wanting to believe she was dead. I really kept clinging to reports saying she had a broken leg. MJ, especially after seeing This Is It. I'm so mad...that man should not be dead. Heath was kind of surprising for me, as I didn't really think I'd be affected. I still can't watch any of his movies. Lena just meant so much in every aspect of her life, and I really hope her wisdom is captured somehow.
Thank you Krom and Brandy!! I remembered Thursday driving down the street, I was yelling "John Candy, John Candy" LOLOriginally Posted by Krom;3922399;
Captain Kangaroo made me very sad too.
The ones that made me cry would be Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze and Chris LeDoux. Strange combination, I know.

Carroll O'Connor (Archie Bunker), Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter), Johnny Carson, John Candy, Princess Diana, Gilda Radner, and Jerry Orbach. I still miss Lenny on Law and Order.
So many others too.
