Yah but he was married to Sandra Bullock... somehow I just can't reconcile the 2 lives...

I would have thought that with all the love they appeared to have for each other that he would have realized that the porn star/ quickie on the office couch life was nothing compared to the relationship he had with Sandra. When I first "got to know" him during his Celebrity Apprentice days I became a fan... I was impressed how he wasn't going to let Donald try to reduce their relationship... Sandra has always shown such love for him... I didn't get it, but I thought it was nice. I feel so bad for Sandra.

I also wonder why he would have had a liaison with the trashy woman.
I got to know him on the CA and he seemed like such a sweet and thoughtful guy on that how.
It's just a shame all the way around.
I hope things work out for the 2 of them.

Not only did he take her thunder away, he ruined what most actors regard as the highest achievement in their craft. I know if it were me, I would never be able to look at the Oscar without thinking about what followed.

By this very selfish act (or acts), he has not only devastated his wife and her career (at least for the moment), but also has taken a very positive role model out of the lives of his children.

Tiger is complete scum as well, but at least his kids will still have their mother.

Not "only" all of that, but if the model's graphic comments about unsafe sex are true, Jesse has taken the risk of potentially exposing himself and Sandra (and any other partners) to STDs (curable and incurable), probably the worst of which are HIV and AIDS. I'm not up on the latest advancements in HIV/AIDS treatment, but these can result in severe long-term illness and treatments, and/or death. That's the worst part of it, IMO.

And obviously, HIV and other contagions are not just sexually transmitted; they can be transmitted via needles (tattoos!).

Luckily, Elin's kids are still quite young so they can be shielded (for a while) from the media and Internet coverage of the sordid details, which is not so for Jesse's kids.

I'm sure this skank timed this because she knew Sandra would be at the height of the media after the Oscars. That's all she is, a media whore, gold digging, home wrecking skank, just like the Tiger Woods collection of mistresses. She knew what she was doing and what she's doing but I've seen a lot of "he slept with that over Sandra?" comparisions in the media. I'd like to think this would humble her a little and maybe make her actually regret her actions. Not to say she still wouldn't have cheated but it doesn't help when the media gives all this attention to these women.

As for Sandra, people are going to love her even more when all is said and done.

I agree with you that people will love her more for this. However, inside she's a woman who gave her love to a man and made herself vulnerable. This has got to be devastating. (Not to mention the humiliation of the publicity. Do any of us want to be pitied? Not me!)
I'can't imagine how badly this has to hurt. Not to mention (as some have already) the long reaching effects on his children for whom she was a figure of stability.
I don't know if there's a way to work through this situation or if you could ever trust again...
It may just be, "don't let the door hit ya on your way out!"

I love that song; had forgotten about it! It's a great video, too, and must have been really fun to make (likewise to perform the tune live).

    I agree with that.

I checked the thread and thought that I had posted about really, really liking Jesse on Celebrity Apprentice (guess I didn't click "submit" due to having more to say about this travesty). Jesse seemed to be an almost epitome of breaking through stereotypes, and was so level-headed, calm, and business-savvy. Yes, it's another editted "reality" show, but I fell for it.

I remember when I heard that Sandra had married him, I thought "oh! are you kidding?; they seem to be polar opposites" and I raised an eyebrow, but I just knew that it must mean that he was a jewel.

I didn't really know of him except that he had that other show, which I've never seen. And I didn't know about his ex-wife being a porn star.

It sounds from the news articles that the older 2 kids are from a different mother, because the custody battle is only for the youngest?

This just breaks my heart. I love Sandra Bullock and her awards speeches were so full of him... and now this. I HATE that swastika lady will get her version of glory from it. As for JJ - what words are there for someone who would ruin the lives of a wonderful wife and 3 innocent children? He and Tiger can sail a boat into the Bermuda Triangle and disappear forever. They can take their crew of skanky women with them. Tie Gloria Allred to the mast while you're at it.
    Count your blessings!

What a piece of crap this guy is, and how a woman who appears to have so much together in her business life can make such a poor decision when it comes to whom to marry, is beyond me.
I can only imagine what collateral damage he has done to her ever trusting a man again.
She took in his daughter, she fought a legal battle to win custody of the man's child! What kind of pig-crap is this man made of?
If she takes this thing back it will speak volumes on exactly how good of an actress she really is, because she had me convinced she was a strong independant woman. Run, Sandra, run!

Re: Sandra Bullock and Jesse James

I don't agree with that. A strong, independent woman should be strong enough and independent enough to make her own decision about how she wants to lead her life. No one else really knows what factors go into any decisions that other people make. I'm not saying Sandra should take him back or even that she will, but if that is what she decides to do, then I don't believe that she should be judged harshly for it.
History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King, Jr.
