Tiger was a player before his marriage, and the vows he took didn't seem to matter or curb his behavior. That was his choice, and now he's feeling the consequences.

I think Elin might have stuck it out if there had been only 1 or possibly 2 women, but when it gets up into double digits how could any self-respecting woman just overlook that? That and the knowledge from one of them, Grubbs, that he didn't use condoms. That alone should make the wife furious, especially since he was allegedly conducting his affairs while Elin had their two children, thus putting them all at risk.

    Re: Tiger Woods' Accident

Twas the night of Thanksgiving and out of the house
Tiger Woods came a flyin', chased by his spouse.
She wielded a nine iron and wasn't too merry,
Cause a bimbo’s phone number was in his Blackberry.

He’d been cheatin on Elin, and the story progressed.
Woman after woman stepped up and confessed.
He’d been cheatin with Holly, and Jaimee, and Cori,
With Joselyn, and Kalika. The world had the story.

From the top of the Tour to the basement of blues,
Tiger’s sad sordid tale was all over the news.
With hostesses, waitresses, he had lots of sex,
When not in their pants, he was sendin them texts.

Despite all his cryin and beggin and pleadin,
Tiger’s wife went investin -- a new home in Sweden.
And I heard her exclaim from her white Escalade,
"If you’re gettin' laid then I’m gettin' paid."

She’s not pouting, in fact, she is of jolly good cheer,
Her prenup made Christmas come early this year.

    Love the poem!
Does this ever stop....now some cougars have joined the group, news are reporting. I've been where Elin is, the ex of a professional athlete, and it's even harder when it goes public, and you have kids involved. Most of us have suspicions, but for me I had to catch him myself, put all his stuff out of our home, changed the locks, and never looked back. It was long and drawn out, but for our children's sake we kept it private and quiet. This was before the internet age, so you only had reporters come to your house for a story. Never dissed him publicly or vice versa, and then just one day Christmas Eve 2004, divorce was finalized.

Oh, he paid and pays dearly. I went back got my masters' in education, and continued teaching, just retired this year (early), We have a good relationship, he's re-married, 3 great daughters, one engaged to a professional athlete, two in college, one was dating a college baseball player, that was just killed in a car accident, and one that plays college basketball. They're strong young women, and know I had to do what I had to do, to keep my dignity and self-respect.
    RIP....Kevin 11-29-09

    Re: Tiger Woods' Accident

I hate myself for doing this--but--

On one of the entertaimnent news shows today there was a story addressing the possible issue of how much Tiger had noticably bulked up in the past few years.

In comparison photos it seems to be that while he had okay musculature before--he looked lik a strong wirey guy-but in the past few years his arms--especially his upper arms--have really become enlarged. The muscles most affected seem to be the biceps (the ones that pop out on your upper arm when you bend your elbow and make a fist) as well as his shoulders and neck (trapezius--which make a person look like they have a big neck.)

As a weightlifter I have to say that I definitely do see the difference in his muscles.

The possible issue is that he was being treated with Human Growth Hormone--which is illegal in pro sports--which enhances and encourages muscle growth.

I sincerely hope his enlarged arm muscles are rhe result of a greatly increased program of weightlifting.

(BTW--some of the sports reporters are saying that they have commented on his apparent bulking up in the past year or so in their columns etc.)

The Times had an article on Tuesday wherein Tiger Woods was linked to a Canadian doctor suspected of giving PEDs to athletes.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Tiger was using. It would surprise me more if he wasn't.

MissyBoxer--hi. Actually it would surprise me because he spent so much of his career NOT doing anything like that to his body.

I wonder if his knee and leg injury changed his mind about using that kind of substance? (assuming that he did use HGH of course.)

    Re: Tiger Woods' Accident

The latest thing now is that Elin wants a divorce and 100% custody because Tiger refuses to go to rehab for the pills or counseling concerning the women.
The sports blogs and comments often seem to indicate the sentiment that if Tiger just gets back to playing golf, it will all blow over and everything will be the same.

Sadly, but ironically, I heard someone suggest today that Tiger Woods should be the Person of the Year because he so well represents the sham and deception in our society.

What proof do you have? If there's one thing I've learned this decade, it's that unfortunately we can't take athletes at their word as far as use/non-use is concerned-- too many have claimed innocent only to be found otherwise later on.
