The morals of god and church don't apply to everyone so this may be an issue for the religious or the betrayed for some it is just people snooping into others private matters and it really is beyond ridiculous at this point.

How about we let Tiger and his wife worry about their personal problems?
So that's a "ticket" to act inappropriately? Just ask Elin...just because man may have been doing this for centuries, if that makes it alright.

Hey if they do that then wifey won't get as much money when she dumps him. This also takes food out of the mouths of his kids. Yeah that will show'em.

Ahem and men are not the only ones that fool around on their spouses. Apparently cheating is worse than killing dogs, rape, murder and other criminal acts. Apparently the world is hung up on sex among consenting adults.
Athletes get endorsements based not only on their athletic ability but also their charisma and popularity. You could have a fantastic athlete but if he isn't popular with the masses then he won't sell your products for you. For them, their image *is* part of their work. And when something like this happens, then their employers sure as heck have every right to drop them faster than a hot potato! So, yes, in this case, Tiger's 'transgressions' do matter because they have tarnished the squeaky clean, private, family man image he created. He sold the world something false.

That's what I care most about -- Tiger sold me something that wasn't true. And I'm gossiping just as much about it as I would if I found out my neighbor down the street (guy or girl) had a bunch of affairs on the side. In the end, the only people it should matter to most are his wife and her family. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to think he's a tool and talk about him!!

And, yes, his antics upset me just as much as Michael Vicks' did with his fighting dogs ring (and I live in Atlanta so it is a huge deal here!) And as for Bill -- there were so many details I had no desire to hear...but we did. That's just what happens when you're in the public light -- you do something stupid and everyone hears about it.

Note to those in the public eye -- don't do anything stupid and then noone will have any reason to know your business!! Seems pretty easy to me.

I just stated the fact I never said it was right. I have no concern how many women Tiger Woods slept with I am not married to him. It's not my problem or my business. i could care less if it is right or wrong because it is not my place to nose around in others personal affairs. I have enough personal business of my own to tend to.

That's fine. That's where my opinion differs, though. I don't define making a statement or opinion about it being nosy. As long as it's out there all over the media, and whether positive or negative, people will comment about it. When one is famous, this is the price they pay - privacy going out the window, unfortunately.

I can only wonder what planet Tiger was floating on when he thought he could cavort around and not have it blow up on him. Mr Unknown eventually gets found out, how did Tiger think he could hide?

    Bonbonlover--hi.

I think that is part of the psychology of celebrity males.

It certainly is part of the psychology of sex addicts.

    Please don't say that.
It was NOT Kareem who had all the women.

Perhaps the sports reporters shielded Tiger because he made a lot of money for the sport and brought a lot of attention to it.

Should be interesting to see when he turns back up at a PGA event.
Yes, and it is much more than just the sports reporters. Tiger is a billionaire. BILLIONAIRE. He employs oodles of people -- managers, agents, PR, etc. All of those people have families and lifestyles to support. All are in the business of making the boss happy. Enablers to his bad behavior all around. I doubt if Tiger has ever been told no by anyone.

I read a report the other day that Tiger was registering at hotels in his own name, and at least one of the women just came and went to his hotel room as she pleased. Tiger wasn't even sneaking around. It's like he believed he was invincible and the rules of conventional society just don't apply to him.

Apparently the only thing this billionaire couldn't buy was the one thing he needed most, a moral compass.

    THanks, Unk and QueenB.

Is it difficult to tell that Kareem is 1 of my all time favorites and is seldom in the tabloids?
