Oh....I noticed that Tiger's Wii golf game was on the sale racks in Toy R Us and Target
When my husband said that, it was said with a great deal of sarcasm, which doesn't come across so well in print.

I really don't buy that Tiger is cheating with all of these women

Well we can look at it that way and say these women are making up stories in an gain some fame? Or we can say OMG if 10 have come forward, how many are in the woodwork remaining silent?

I am not sure that coming forward with such allegations makes any of these women look good... in fact most reports and commentators refer to them as trashy.
Okay I love FORT's casino, but I really am not very good. If anyone wants to donate their FORT $$ I would gladly accept http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/forum....php?do=donate

Kobe went public, man upped to his actions. Then went on to shower his wife and family with public affection that still seems sincere.

AGAIN, That does NOT make Kobe's actions okay in ANY way.
I'm just saying that Kobe cannot be compared to Tiger's self admitted "transgressions" and possible forgiveness come back tour.
Was Kobe's not a transgression also? Kobe had sex with a woman not his wife also. The only reason that was anyone's business is because he was accused of rape. If it had of been just sex with someone outside of his marriage that doesn't concern me and it frankly shouldn't concern anyone else!

Actually, I'm not surprised at all when a celeb's escapades - no matter what they may be - come to light and everybody then says "What?"
The media and the police, etc. know way more than people seem to think they do. And police, as well as the media, do usually give a free pass to them.
Years before the death of Nicole Simpson, the police were repeatedly called to their home. And, they did absolutely nothing time and again, because he was OJ....

Someone upthread mentioned the police just administering a drug test / blood panel when they first came upon Tiger at the crash site and were told / suspected he might be intoxicated. I suspect the police there did as they do with most other high profile people- Did nothing........

    "Transgressions" was Tigers word.

Kobe was more forthcoming: "I sit here in front of you guys, furious at myself, disgusted at myself for making the mistake of adultery. And I love my wife with all my heart."

And they both made it everyones business by going public, either by press conference or postings on the World Wide Web.

    Re: Tiger Woods' Accident

nbcsports .com has an article saying that Elin bought a home on an island in Sweden, 2 weeks ago. Also, Elin moved out of the Woods mansion with the kids, and is staying in a nearby home. So if true, this supports my initial perception that her mother and sister are visiting to help her through "this", and probably to help her move out. But you never know...

I heard earlier today also, that Elin moved out. I really feel for her and the kids. It's a pitiful shame.

I do believe he had an affair or two but not the amount they are saying is being reported. People see fame and a dollar and they will ride the coattail of this story. In this day and age we live in lies are much better than the truth and pay more handsomely.

People care because negative out weighs positive.
Wait...what??? There are more than plenty of hours in the day to have as many affairs as he did and his traveling (while his wife is home with their 2 young children) gives him the perfect opportunity to do so. You can't tell me he doesn't have an empty hour here or there where he could squeeze a girl in (no pun intended!) There's a reason VIP's have private rooms to party in when they go out. Whether he did it or not with 11 other women as is being reported, 1 is plenty to change my opinion of him.

My husband has no interest in any of this but when he heard his sister and I talking about it last week, he told us if there's 2 women, there's probably 10 more we haven't heard about. Wilt Chamberlain, anyone??

As for the negative outweighing the positive? Hooray for Tiger; he set up a foundation to help kids and he makes appearances when his face isn't busted up. But forgive me if I'm just a little skeptical that he's actually the person running it all.

For me, I do have a problem with all of this-- Tiger has made tons of money off of his squeaky clean image. Said kids from his foundation look up to him! Is that someone I want my kids looking up to some day? Heck, no! If he doesn't want to be a role model, then go ahead and act that way; I wouldn't tell my kids to model themselves after Steven Tyler.

Sorry, I don't mean to sound as if I'm venting against your post!! But, it's because Tiger *is* such a role model that he's getting so much press about his fall from the pedestal we all put him on. And he brought it all on himself.

I say kudos to Elin for having bought property in Sweden with her sister! Of course, that won't mend her broken heart but it shows the girl's been using her brain and biding her time since the summer and I say, you go girl!!
