Jackson changed pop music forever, and no matter what his personal life contained he was the king. It is easy to make fun of talent when all you have ever done is report on other people's talents. Bye Michael.

Was just watching some clips of him singing with the Jackson 5. He was such a cute kid and had such an amazing voice even at that young age.

On a side note, Anderson Cooper just said that he met MJ when he was 10 years old at Studio 54. I think that could be an interesting story!

Such sad unexpected news. I still cant beleive it. I've been watching Anderson Cooper for the past hour, talking about his brilliance and eccenticity. Its looking like he was surrounded by those not looking out for his best interests. Reminds me so much of Elvis....

Michael was a very gentle soul and, despite what many wish to believe about him, I always firmly believed that he was incapable of the horrible charges leveled against him. He was a humanitarian long before it became oh so fashionable in Hollywood. His genius in song, dance, choreography, etc. was just brilliant. Entertainers and talent like Michael don't come along very often. He was unique and simply amazing. RIP, MIchael, you will be greatly missed.

My heart goes out to his children and to his millions of fans who are grieving all over the world.

If anyone finds out what provisions have been made for his children--and who they'll be with--please let us know.

I was in my car driving home when I found out about his passing via a Twitter of all things. I was truly saddened and shocked by the news. Whatever his personal struggles and all the controversy in his life, Michael was a groundbreaking, genius artist who will be missed.

Same here Bug.....I spent a lot of the night on Youtube watching videos of him doing Rockin' Robin, Ben, Rock With You etc.....So many tears right now.
