    i cried while watching a youtube clip from dirty dancing after hearing of his death. i've never cried for a celebrity before. and i think what you said aname2 is most likely why.

    Interesting sidenote--I am hearing from a lot of men how much they liked Patrick's work--and liked him in general. So this isn't just a "women thing" at all.

    He seems to appeal to people across the spectrum.

    Patrick was a wonderful actor, dancer and person. The fact that he kept his private life private says something right there.
