    RIP Mr. Swayze, you were a wonderful actor and a geniune guy. Lot's of dignity, not something you see often in Hollywood.

    So many loved him for Dirty Dancing and Ghost and they were good movies. But my favorite was Road House with Red Dawn coming in 2nd and To Fong Woo, Third, Point Break and then Uncommon Valor.

    I loved him in North and South,....and Ghost (which I just watched last week),....and Dirty Dancing,.....ok, I just loved him. Such a gentle man, married to the loved of his life, and I don't remember gossip about him. Rest in peace.

    Patrick Swayze had pancreatic cancer and I know he was diagnosed last yr or longer and I am surprised he lasted as long as he did because pancreatic cancer is very aggressive and you normally don't last longer than 6 months after diagnosis. RIP.

    RIP Patrick Swayze. I find it incredible that he was in so many iconic movies; Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Donnie Darko, and yet wasn't really a superstar - in the gossip sense. To me, it means that he loved his work and his family and kept them separate, which is very respectable.
