Celebaby News: aka "What NOT to name your kid" - Page 21

I read somewhere, the father stating that when the baby was born, he sang like a sparrow, so that was it! That's why they named him Sparrow.

My first thought was Jack Sparrow of POTC fame!

I agree. Harlow strikes me as classy and "old Hollywood". In comparison, Sparrow does not have enough "depth", if that makes any sense at all. I would have expected an old school but uncommon name for him like: Ezra, Tobias, Maxwell, Lucius, Sebastian, Rhett, etc.

Oh well, as long as they are happy with the name and their reasoning, I suppose that's all that really matters...

I LOVE the name Sparrow...hadn't even thought of that one before, but it would be better suited for a girl, imo.

To keep with the theme of the thread, we have:

Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery welcomed a daughter, Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery, on Sept. 15

You named your daughter after a bat???

I just read Heidi Klum had her and Seal's daughter and named her Lou. Yuck what kind of first name for a girl is Lou?

Stella is a bit old fashioned, but even still its miles better than the crap most celebs name their kids. So I guess we can only kid about the middle name.

But Charlotte Grace? Geez. Who knew Buffy was SANE?

I have a good friend who is female named Lou. And another that spells hers Lew. I've always thought of it as a woman's name.
