While I think it's great that people put a lot of thought / creativity into the names they bestow, I wish that they would sometimes put more thought into how it will work for the child. It's not that easy to go through school / life with some of these names. :wow

I don't get some of these off the wall names either. Sparrow isn't even creative in my opinion. It just sounds silly to me.

Reminds me of Capt. Jack Sparrow in the Pirates movies.
My great grandmother was named Mourning. We thought that was kind of strange and she was named for the Mourning Dove.
I used to tease my parents that I would use her name and my grandfather's middle name and name one my kids Early Mourning. They didn't think it was funny.

Harlow is such a beautiful name I had high hopes her new baby would have a great name. I just think Sparrow is a silly name.
i kinda like sparrow ... for a girl. it's kinda like sunshine, etc. :)
