*sigh* Yet another odd pair of baby names. Can't these people be NORMAL?

Dolly and Charlie? Granted, they aren't completely made up wacko names, but still...

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell welcome twin girls

Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell welcomed twin girls, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tuli, on Dec. 28, her rep tells Usmagazine.com.

"Mother, father and both girls are all home and doing well," says her rep.

Howard Stern first announced the news on his Sirius radio show Monday morning.

"They had twin girls, Dolly and Charlie," Stern said. "Rebecca likes Dolly Parton, so they named the one after Dolly Parton, and Jerry got to name the other one Charlie, but his brother’s name is Charlie -- and it’s a girl Charlie."

When I read Charlie I was thinking, what's weird about that? Then I saw that they are both girls.

I think Charlie can be a cute nn for a girl, but it should be short for something like Charlene or Charlize. JMO.

Charlie isn't awful for a girl, but they could have picked something more formal and feminine for a girl and still call her Charlie after her uncle, former Bachelor dude Charlie (which I'm guessing is really a Charles).

The one I feel worse for is Dolly. Ack, that would be tough.

I like Charlie as a girl's name. Dolly, not so much.

Somehow I forgot that Jerry hooked up with Rebecca.

What's up with the extra name "Tuli"?

It's actually Tulip, not tuli. So I get it, Rose and Tulip; giving the girls names of flowers as part of the package.

But it makes we wonder....what third names are called. They are not middle names, so what are they? Second middle names? Third names? Anyone know?

Dolly and Charlie aren't the worst names of late, but still, they sound like nicknames rather than real names.

Lisa "Denise Huxtable" Bonet gave birth to a baby boy on December 15th.

The babydaddy is Stargate Atlantis actor, hottie Jason Momoa.

They've named their son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha.

This is the couple's second child.
Bonet also has a 20-year old daughter, Zoe, with rock star Lenny Kravitz.

I will admit to quickly skimming the post and for a second thought they had named the child Stargate Atlantis. The sad part is that it didn't surprise me given some of the names these poor kids have been saddled with.
