Oh my, I hadn't heard about Les Paul. The man invented multi=tracking.

Virginia Davis (or sometimes Davies), who was Walt Disney's first big star, died today at age 90.

She was the first out of four actresses who played Alice in the "Alice does.../goes..." series. She was the most famous of the four, but I don't think she ever made the transition to talkies.

DJ AM was found dead tonight. Seems to be drug related. Just can't understand how someone who survives a plane crash that killed 2 less than a year ago throws away their second chance. RIP anyhow.

They're saying that depression was a key factor, which makes it even sadder for me.

I'm sure he also endured a ton of pain after that accident. I know he had severe burns. It's just so sad that someone escaped the seemingly impossible and survived, only to die in a manner that's so preventable.

How sad that his second chance at life had such a tragic ending.

I agree that had to play a factor, as well as depression. I don't think he "threw" his 2nd chance at life away.

No matter the drugs they gave him, it could've triggered his addictions again.

What a shame, he was very talented.
