    Re: Rest In Peace.

How very, very shocking and sad for Ms. Richardson's husband, sons and other family members.

I lost my husband two years ago (next month) to an unexpected aneurysm and subsequent brain death, so I have somewhat of an idea of the absolute devastation an out-of-the blue passing such as this (or of this type) can have on the survivors.

I am so sorry for their loss, and will include them in my prayers.

    Rest In Peace, Ms. Richardson.

That was so unexpected considering she was on the beginners slope and did not hit a tree. I wonder if they will do an autopsy? Regardless, my heart goes out to her husband and children.

Unusual deaths of people who appear to be normal and healthy are usually autopsied.

RIP Natasha Richardson. My heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends. I am a big fan of hers along with the Redgrave family. How sad and such a huge loss to all that knew her and loved her. Several of her recent films have been airing on cable, one of which she played played daughter to her real life mother Vanessa Redgrave. She was a fine actress who will be missed.

An autopsy is being done in NYC today. Results may be out later in the day.

When I heard the news on CNN yesterday, I was so saddened. She was such a charismatic and commanding actress.
RIP, Ms. Richardson, you will be sorely missed.

They just released the ME's autopsy report with the cause of death being blunt force trauma. They've still not said from what, so not sure if she fell on chunk of ice, poles, skis?

I bet for a while anyone who hits their head, no matter how minor, will be visiting the ER.

This is so sad, and shocking. My heart goes out to her family.
